Nick and Nicole, the unlikely duo.

MORGAN'S P.O.V.

I closed the door firmly behind us and glanced at Nick. The entire situation annoyed me to no ends, but I had to coooerate with him, at least for now.

"You're doing this all over again."

"If Nicole comes back 500 times over, I would kill her each one. Just know that. If you are going to interfere, just tell me right now."

He shugged and walked to the other side of the cell. 

"How dare you go to Samantha?' I said as I squatted to her height, holding her gaze. She looked like she was sbout to spit on me.

"So she is the one," she said, lsughing hard. "I will kill her. I will take my place back." 

"What place, Nicole? You have no place in this city. I never married or loved you, and honestly, we wouldn't be having this conversation right now, If it wasn't for this dimwit's Inabiliyy to sense a threat."

I looked at nick as he glanced at me, his eyes cold, then glanced away again. When did Nick become this man?"

  "He saved my kife. And I will repay him." She smiled at me, then turned to Nick with a wink.

"I wish I could say good luck with that, but..I intend on sending you to the grave you narrowly escaped."

There ws eerie silence for a while. And then she turned to me. 

"Why did you never learn to love me, Morgan? All I did was love you. I could see no one else but you." 

I noticed Nick flinch and close his eyes. Of course, it would hurt him. At this point, I wasnt sure I didn't want it to. It would have been better if I didn't harbor this enormous amount of hatred for her.

"The exact same way you never reciprocated all the love Nick showered on you."

She smiled. "Nick is a fool. His love was of no use to me."

"Yet, his love saved you from death by my hands."

"It was my love for you that saved me, not his. A heart full of sincere intentions will not be lost, or discarded like that."

"At leat have some respect for me. Will you?"Nick said. To my surprise, when I looked up, he was staring at Nicole. I thought he would be referring to me. But I guess, the better.

Nicole soffed. "Respect? Why would I respect you? I was the chosen queen and All your stupid puppy love ever did was hinder it. I do owe you my life, but It wasn't because you loved me. Admit you just wanted someone who would want revenge on Morgan."

My eyes went wide as I looked at Nick. He looked speechless, angry. But I don't care what he waa feeling, if he didn't deny her in two seconds, I would put them in this cell together.

He should his head. "I made a mistake." 

He turned and walkef out, leaving just the two of us.
