Another Side of Morgan 2

"Give your memories to me," King Morgan said.

He was more of King Morgan right now. More of the ruthless kings we always saw. He wasn't him, right now, and I know I am not so much of his friend right now.

It was good while it lasted.

Nathan was mostly burnt around him, but was slowly, extremely slowly healing. It was too slow for a vampire, and I knew he was badly damaged.

SAMANTHA'S P.O.V

My head hurt, but I felt extremely fine. Not like someone who'd seen a truck ram into her less than an hour ago. I was sitting on the bed, my hand holding my head. I don't know how I got here, but I could remember Nathan coming into my room.

"Morgan?" I said, stretching my hands to feel around the bed. I opened my eyes when I felt only the sheets that was now warmer. He had probably been gone for a long time. I sat up, and tied my hair in a bun.

Last night had been pure emotions, something that appealed greatly to me. We hadn't done anything for pleasure. We had needed companionship, and we had gotten it from each other.

I pushed the covers away and stood, wondering where he had gone off to. I knew he wouldn't go too far, so part of me had been expecting him at the door when I heard the knock.

I ran to it, wondering why I was so excited to see him now.

It felt almost like back then when we were two high school students with normal lives and an affinity for each other that none of us could believe or deny.

I smiled as I stopped at the door, heaving in excitement.

"Morgan?" I said and flung the door open.

The smile wiped off my face once I saw it wasn't him. The person looked very familiar, and I had his name on the tip of my tongue.

"I do hope you remember me.." He said, smiling. That smile. Nathan.

"Nathan?"

"Yours truly."

I started to smile, thinking Morgan had finally released him. He looked good, and I knew Morgan had kept his word of taking good care of him, even though he wouldn't be granted his freedom.

"Nathan," I said, sighing in relief. "You're out."

He laughed and pushed past me, entering my room.

"Don't you just wish you were back home? That way, I wouldn't be able to come in." He sat on the bed.

I tried to push his bad manners out of my mind, and smiled at him. "I'm glad you're out now."

He smirked. "You might be innocent, but you aren't exactly dumb."

"What do you mean?" I asked, fear starting to take over me.

"I mean, I like the way you don't attribute my getting out of the dungeons to your boyfriend. I got out myself."

"What are you doing here?" I said, running to the door.

He suddenly got to the door just before I did, and closed it shut.

"I came here to take you with me."
