First meeting with the Duke of Bloodworth.

The first Duke of Bloodworth was actually a Royalty, to be more accurate, a king. He gave up his throne and started his journey to Bloodworth Dukedom.

Bloodworth Dukedom trained the best Knights in the country. There wasn't a war where the Bloodworth Knights went and didn't win.

They had a tradition of offering to train eight knights sent to them from the Royal Palace for the new King at his Crowning Ceremony.

The Bloodworths had highest influence in the country after the King. And it was a given that they were rich.

The current Duke of Bloodworth was, Magus Bloodworth.

No one actually had much information on him but there were lots of rumors about him. Some said he looked like a monster, some said he was insanely good looking, some said he was a devil incarnate, some said he was super polite.

People believed whichever rumors about him according to their hypothetical perception of the Duke Magus.

"The Bloodworths have only ever trained eight knights for the king. I doubt he'll do it for us, Young Master."

Adonis, who looked quite at ease looking at the scenery outside the carriage said,"We never know until we try."

He looked at Rosie and said,"But Rosie, why did you have to bring us a carriage to ride? We should have ridden our horses. It's just a small scratch in my leg. So embarrassing to go see the Duke like this. It's like a bride going to husband's home."

Rosie stared at him with dead eyes and said,"Young Master has a very precise way of describing the situation we are in. It is rumoured that the Duke is quite scary looking and ruthless."

"I'd rather like to assume he's big, good looking and man of less words. Thus he might come off as a bit intimidating."

Rosie look him with curious expression again and said, "Well doesn't Young Master's assumption seen too precise to call it just an assumption? It's like Young Master knows him."

To that questions Adnois just laughed.

[Of course, I do.]

In his last life the Duke of Bloodworth had come to find him. He wanted to buy the hill near the Ocean of Adonis's Dandelion Village. Of course the one he found was Isolde.

When Isolde knew it was the land he had been searching for five years, she asked him to train one hundred and one knights in exchange to the hill in Adonis's village and he agreed.

Having one hundred and one knights trained by the Bloodworths added three times more power to Isolde's position.

Later it was said that a beautiful woman named Belle was buried in the hill.

The Duke of Bloodworth didn't marry till Adonis lived and was brutally murdered not long after the Arnall family was wiped out.

And when he was sold by Isolde in that brothel like palace, where he was locked up. He heard that the heir of Duke Bloodworth, with a small group of knights, together with the small force of second Prince was rebelling against the first Prince's, the king of then's, tryantical rule.

So that's how people knew that the woman in the hill was Duke's wife who he dearly loved and he even had a child with her.

Adonis definately won't let that happen this time.

He's gonna make the first move and become powerful.

The carriage came to stop.

Today Adnois had worn his another 'plain' suit. It was white and golden.

He's seriously going to have a bad impression on the Duke, coming in carriage and wearing such white and golden outfit.

No matter how much he looked at it, he still looked like a bride coming to his husband's house.

Isolde helped the person who set fire to the Bloodworth Dukedom and he just knew that she sent someone to do so.

Adonis had already planned of warning the Duke to only give jobs to the trustable ones.

A group of people were waiting for them at the gate, Adonis assumed him to be the butler.

At first they looked at him for a while, standing straight, thus making him conscious and only after a minute they greeted them.  The two also returned the greetings back.

"Welcome to the Bloodworth Castle, Lord Adonis. Our Duke is waiting for you. Pleas let me guide the Lord."

Adonis smiled and nodded.

They stopped before the door. And said, "The Duke wants to have a chat with the Lord in private. We'll stay behind."

Adonis nodded again. The butler opened the door and Adonis entered the room.

He looked around but Duke wasn't sitting on the chair.

Then he saw a hand on the table. A man stood from below the table.

"Form now on, papers are to be transferred immediately to the shelf when he comes in."

Adonis forgot to breath.

The Duke of Bloodworth, the man with the most rumors, was standing with his shirt rolled up his muscular hands, hair a bit messy.

Adonis couldn't take his eyes off him. The clothes hugged the Duke intimately. One could make out every muscles on his body.

Adonis gulped down. He shook his head thinking how he came to negotiate to the Duke about the hill his wife was buried in.

"Greetings to the Great Duke of Bloodworth."

Magnus finally looked up from the paper to the man standing in front of him.

He didn't say anything for a while. Then maybe noticed that the man was bowing infront of him for a while.

He said,"Greetings to the Young Master Arnall. Please have a seat."

By the time Adonis went to sit on the sofa, the Duke's shirt was rolled and buttoned down.

[Cute.]

"Young Master stated in his letter that the place I was looking for was in your name."

Adonis stared dead at those pitch dark eyes and said,"I do."

"How do you know that it is the same land I am looking for?"

"The Duke can check himself."

"What do you want?"

"I want the Duke to help me train knights."

"The Arnalls are the oldest noble till date. I believe they have people whose generation after generation is dedicated to training Arnall Knights. Please state your reason."

"I'm going to fire them."

The Duke just stared at his eyes and didn't speak.

"They aren't trustable. More like spy."

The Duke stood up and went to the table. It looked like he was searching for some documents.

Adonis's heart was beating like crazy. He gulped down.

He was trying to keep his composure and act confident but he wasn't.

If the Duke didn't agree to this deal then Adonis has to try harder to get power.

But it's okay, he'll do it, one way or another.

The Duke came and placed a paper and pen in front of him. He sat in the place he sat earlier in.

"Please write your conditions on the paper, I'll make a contract. We can meet to sign it at your convinence. I'll sent you the letter."

Adonis couldn't hide his happiness and smiled brightly.

"Thank you so much, Duke. Thank you so so so much."

He stared at the paper for a while, brainstormed and wrote in the papers, pouting time and again.

The Duke looked at the person in front of him intently.

After he was done, he smiled and extended the paper towards him.

"Here, thank you so much, Duke. If you could give me a date, I'll visit you, letters might be less secure."

The Duke thought for a while and said,"Okay then, after three days."

Since earlier Adonis had already forgotten that he wanted to act proper and noble. He smiled brightly again and said,"Okay then. I won't take anymore of your busy time. See you in three days, Duke."

Even before Magus could agree, Adonis had already left the room.

He'll warn him next time, this time would be too suspicious.

Magus stared at the door for a while and said,"What a suitable name."

When Adonis exited Magus's study, he saw that Rosie and Duke's butler wasn't there so he trying to remember the way he came from and find them.

He heard some noise coming from balcony.

"ouch."

It sounded like a child's voice so Adonis went to the balcony.
