Bonding and awakening

I was amazed as to how an empire so powerful was snuffed out in the blink of an eye but that was not my problem anymore and as Ancalagon was about to land I told him to wait.

"Wait for just a few minutes before landing Ancalagon" I said to him as I stood there and took out my grimoire.

"True magic; time reversal magic restore"

As soon as I said those words the entire continent of Valyria was restored to its former glory and after it was finished the dragons landed on the ground and I jumped of my dragons back.

I looked around and found nothing but an empty vast place and I knelt down pressings my hand on the ground to find the lay lines of power which create this world and as soon as I found them I retreated because what I felt was disgusting and I turned to Ancalagon and spoke.

"Partner did you feel that as well that blackness and stench which is corrupting this world, it is what is cousing the humans of this world to losse their magic and it seems anyone who draws power from the magic in this world will become corrupt and lose their life I said to him."

["I was wondering how long before you figured it out because every time I tried to use my other draconian magic I felt that corruption same as you did and if we hope to use our magic to the fullest that corruption needs to be cleansed he said to me."]

"We will cleanse it but first we must perform our ritual to awaken completely" I said to him as he nodded coming face to face with me.

So I created a dagger made out of uru and cut open my palm and place it on his head and as we let our magic and spirit become one we both started feeling the changes I felt my tremendous magic power flowing through me into ancalagon and I felt his strength flowing into me, we were basically adding parts that were missing and strengthening those who already existed so his magic and fire became tremendously powerful and my strength started increasing and I could feel the dragons strength flowing through me and after a while I took of my hand seeing the wound heal but what shocked be the most was Ancalagon his scales were getting darker and darker they were expanding each scale getting bigger and stronger but that wasn't all his size was still growing because of the awakening and true magic that he was getting from me and as he grew his wings legs and head along with his fangs became even more massive, I had seen Balerions scull in the red keep but my dragons scull now made that look like a normal dragons skull who didn't live as long and once the changes ended I admired his looks his wing were massive so much so that if he opened them he would end up destroying the mountain peaks which were like six hundred feet or more away and as for his body it became more refined and bigger while also getting stronger and I could feel his strength flowing through me, as it did it started changing me making my bones and body stronger and my eyes turned into the same eyes as him like a pure blazing fire that consumed everything and I had to be honest my dragon was the biggest dragon that has or will ever exist and as I finished admiring his changes I heard his voice inside my head.

"Well what do you think brother do you feel the strength that we have as true dragons, this strength can only be attained when only a true dragon lord and a true dragon bond using the old ways "he spoke to me in my head.

"I can feel the strength and magic that we have, I can also tell that this is just forty percent of our strength we still have room to grow and gain more strength but this should be enough for now since we are the strongest entities in this world " I said to him.

" I wouldn't be so sure about that partner because whatever has blocked the flow of magic in this world is still stronger than both of us and we need to be ready to face whatever comes our way and the only way to do that is to sharpen our techniques and increase our abilities" he said to me.

I was contemplating what or who would be strong enough to pollute the entire worlds magic and as I was contemplating about it I felt like someone was watching me and apparently so did Ancalagon who turned towards me.

"Whatever has changed the magic of this world and the season's is watching us, it might not have shown interest on us before but now we are the only power that can match it and contend against it," Ancalagon said to me.

"Whomever or whatever is watching us their time will come as will all the others who decide to stand against us, we are one entity now brother and whoever decides to harm either of us will find themselves dragged to the depth of hell, no one opposes a dragon and lives no one" i said to him as he nodded.

After deciding to leave it for now and build our strength I decided to first set up a barrier enchantment all over the place starting with the centre of the empire I flew over to the central building which looked like a temple of magic and I went inside looking for a place with good focus to set up an array for enchantments.

After walking through the corridors I came to a large hall which also had a library in the walls and since I restored it I had all the information about agricultural inventing that Valyria had, but now I needed to focus on setting up an array to cover the entire place in which the empire was built and so I started by using transmutation magic to turn the circle floor into uru which is easier to enchant, it is also a good focus for magic and so I invoked the ancient enchantment of the four heavenly beasts.

As soon as I activated the enchantment a beam of magic was released in the sky and it expanded all over the continent of Valyria and as it did everything started getting cleansed from the dilution of this worlds magic which is why I chose this protection enchanted barrier because each of the guardians have different qualities which would benefit the continent such as;

With all of these abilities and gifts the barrier will not only nourish the land but it will bring the ambient magic to greater quality and heights, I was about to call Ancalagon to me but I felt a four new presences coming from within the array and as I was about to check what it was the entire array glowed and as it died down it showed four figures of unimaginable power who were looking at me curiously.
