The Past

The Man was Khoa. He was amazing during his youth, then one day like everyone else's he found out that he wasn't as special as he thought. After finding out this the boy tries to prove himself at one thing that he been good at since he was little. The skill was mathematic but when he entered high school he found out that there were people like himself. At this point, the young man knows as Khoa has two different thoughts about his peers.

First though: (Well finally I found people at my level)

Second thought: (Why are there people like me? This should have been the skill that is granted to me and me only.)

Afterward, the young man tries to complete with his Math prodigies peers. But in the end, he lost all hopes in society and any type of religion. The answer is simple as it said in one of his favorite anime

"Man is not created equal."

"Well that is true isn't it."

After graduating from high school he attended college like everyone else in a hopeless society. When he the time to decide on what type of major to pick? He chooses to be a business. When graduating from college come. He has various thoughts.

But one of the major ones is,

(Now I have to become a real adult).

When applying for a job. He didn't have any big expectation unlike people of his generation. He chose to apply to a small financial firm, and work there for 15 years. There he found her, his wife. She was one of the major clients of the firm. When he first met her a couple of his colleagues told him that she would be one person hard to handle. He thought they were over exasperating. But after meeting her they were right. Her demands were out there. But after working there for more than two years. Her demeanor seems a lot gentler to him than other people like his colleagues.

After serval more years, he thoughts of working as something else, he gave the higher up of the firm advance notices. He also told all of his clients that he will soon not working there anymore.

All the people there with him luck on the new chapter of his adventure. There at the meeting with her Serena, she confesses to him, he didn't know how to feel about it. Although he did have some feelings for her, to have women confess to him seems kinda embarrassing to him. After thinking for a while, he told her.

"Sure why not, we are not getting any younger, and I kinda have some feelings for you as well."

After hearing his answer she couldn't control her feeling and she bursts into tears. From there they started to date each other, his new jobs are to substitute as well as an investor. He thoughts that teaching kids might let him learn something new, it's also a way to release stress. At first, when he resigns from his previous firm, he thought that he would find something similar to do. But after working he felt tired and he just wants to have a lazy easy life now. There he invests half of his saving to uprising companies.

After dating Serena for a few years they decide to marry each other. At this time they were in their early 40th, so they decide to retired and travel around the world. They came back to the states every two to three years. When traveling to different countries they saw many wondrous things, but at the same time, they saw what poverty really is. After returning to the states to settle down for real. They set up an institution for the poor. Therewith companies that Khoa invested in the last decade they didn't have any worry about monetary issues. This institution later becomes one of the wells know the place where genius is born from the poor.

A few decades later Serena dies of old age. Khoa who has a year or two left to live decided to visit the hobby that he abandons for years which is animes, novels, and mangas. To see that with his contribution to the world in his later years there are many works being written about it. On the last day on Earth lying in his bed. He thought to himself how he changes from his youth until now.

After that, though he closes his eyes and finally passes away.

After a while, the man conscious come to.

"Huh, where am I?" Khoa question himself.

"Yo buddy do you know where we are?" asked by an anonymous person.

"Nope I have no clue either" replied Khoa

"Well let chat shall we? Hello my name is Jason, What you name ?" asked Jason

"Well I'm Khoa this odd really, I thought I just die, but somehow I end up here." Khoa

"Wh-What you too? Yea me too I just die and somehow end up here as well." Jason

After chatting with each other more and more people shown up in this mysterious space. As many people got confuses they end up chatting with each other. Some think that this space is something that relates to reincarnation. Which many people were kinda excited about the concept itself. After several hours someone who looks like a god shown up.

"Greeting, everyone I am one knows as a god to you human. After being a god for several hundred millennia, I now search for a successor who will take this job of mine. To make sure I choose the best candidate as a successor I gather thousand of you human. You will participate in a game for the next few centuries. You will each have a system, and choose three powers to accompany you in your new lives. After you familiarize yourself with your new systems, you will be sent to a world of your choosing, or one randomly decided. There you will be able to grow in peace for the next twenty years before being able to traverse worlds freely. You will need to either accumulate more powers or master the ones you choose over the others. Your chances of succeeding will depend on your capability to use your new powers, or your ability to subdue others to follow you. Now then, examine your new systems and choose your powers for a little while, I'll be back to send you all on your way in an hour."

After the speech, the god disappeared. many people were gazing at the spot where the god was at.

After activating the system that the god gave to everyone. Khoa just looks at the general information.

"Well hey wanna befriend? since I don't really get that much interested in this competition," suggest Jason
