After the Dragon mother roared out in anguish, the other Earth Dragons joined her which further intensified the torrent of emotions hitting them and worsened Till's already sour mood further.
Not wasting any more time, he picked up Seron before he walked out of the Earth Dragon lair without another backward glance.
Till only stopped when he reached the door separating the tunnel they had walked through within the Earth Dragon territory earlier.
There he waited for Jason, who followed Till because he also didn't want to endure something similar to the reminiscence-ceremony yet again.
Still, even if they were only shortly exposed to the Dragons' cry of anguish, Jason felt somewhat bad for them as they were imprisoned and they were deprived of their children which was a bad combination.
However, he was too weak to even think of doing something about it, and he would rather think about himself first before doing anything impossible.
