• Just Desserts

While Ji-Hoon packed the food items, Min-joon noticed his newfound yet, bizarre strength. His legs quiverd as he gazed at him, with fear in his eyes.

"What did I just witness? He's... A monster!" He exclaimed as he begins to sweat profoundly.

"Wait, what will that maniac do if he sees me? I'm no match for him now, there's no stopping him from getting his payback for screwing him in the original timeline."

Min-Joon turned around and ran the opposite way abandoning the group. He had abandoned his goal of getting to the serving area.

"What's the point of getting food if I wouldn't survive long enough to eat it?"

However, Ji-Hoon who had finished packing the food in his jacket spotted Min-Joon amongst the crowd, after all, he was the only one moving whereas everybody else was left stunned in their tracks.

A small smile tugged at Ji-Hoon's lips, and Ji-Hoon wasn't one to smile.

"Where do you think you're going, you piece of trash?" Dealing with him could be a simple task, especially with Ji-Hoon's newfound speed and strength.

The thought of putting an end to Min-joon's antics and finally getting his just desserts was satisfying. But just as he readied to dash forward, a system notification popped up in his view.

[Cooldown for Blink skill: 2 minutes.]

Ji-Hoon sighed softly as his smile faded.

"Of course something like this will happen at a crucial moment." The cooldown period for his Blink skill meant he couldn't use it again for another two minutes.

However, Ji-Hoon shrugged, "Doesn't matter, I don't need Blink to reach that piece of turd. My stats are sufficient enough."

Ji-Hoon picked up his jacket and then leaps over the counter. Landing on the other said, he proceed to leap foward. The sheer force of his motion caused the serving area to be sweat away.

He pauses for a moment glancing through the area- Some of the students caught in the shockwave were screaming in pain and fear.

"My eyes!"

"I can't see!"

Ji-Hoon didn't spare them a bother as he dashes forward and in an instant, he was on the other side of the room blocking Min-Joon's path

"Where do you think you're going, Ed?" He asked cracking his knuckles. "We have much to do."

The sudden appearance spooked Min-joon causing him to stumble back. He widened his eyes in shock.

"Ji-Hoon!" Min-joon exclaimed.

"How the hell did you get here so fast?" He glanced at Ji-Hoon's calm demeanor

"That's for me to know and for you to find out," Ji-Hoon said with a smile as he narrowed his gaze slightly, his yellow eyes glowing.

As if on cue, a beam of blue light shot down from the sky, illuminating the area around them and blinding everyone.

"This is..."

The light vanished revealing a female demon-like creature, She had pink hair, yellow eyes with a pair of white horns, she was dressed in a pink, white and gold dress. This was Channel Master Valvay. Along with her appearence everyone in the cafeteria received a new system notification:

[The Constellations are now watching.]

Valvay was accompanied by several camera-like system windows. She turned to the camera and smiles, "Valvay here bringing you live coverage for Planet number ET-75578."

"I'm saved," Min-Joon expressed with a glimmer of hope in his eyes. If a Channel Master were here, perhaps he could convince her to intervene. "Channel Master!"

Min-Joon shouted, pointing at Ji-Hoon. "This rascal has found a way to cheat the system; he swindled his way into getting a class so early. You should punish him for cheating!"

Calling out her attention like that, Valvay couldn't help but feel slightly irritated. She couldn't help but think as she gazed at Min-Joon with a hint of disgust, "In the original timeline, the mere appearance of a Channel Master would frighten these humans, but since they know we can't directly hurt them, they were mostly disrespectful towards the end. And now one dares to call out to me like this."

She clenched her fists but managed to remain calm. She then thought further, "Well, whatever. If he is indeed telling the truth, I have to investigate this player, 'Ji-Hoon'."

She turned to gaze at him, her yellow eyes glowing slightly as she tried to identify if he had a class. Ji-Hoon, without moving his head, glanced at her from the corner of his eyes, knowing she was checking if he had a class. He smiled slightly, knowing he had nothing to worry about.

"Sorry, but the system indicates that Ji-Hoon doesn't possess a class." Valvay's words crushed Min-Joon's remaining sliver of hope as he slumped to his knees upon realizing that he couldn't escape what's to come. Ji-Hoon merely shook his head with a hint of a smirk on his lips.

"Did you hear her, Ed?" he said, his voice steady. "No one's coming to save you." The casual way he dismissed Min-Joon's plea made it clear that Ji-Hoon knew exactly how the system worked. Before Min-Joon could even react, Ji-Hoon swung his left leg with a sudden burst of speed; in the blink of an eye, it struck Min-Joon's abdomen.

Time seemed to slow down as the sheer force of the kick caused a massive shockwave to ripple outwards. Min-Joon coughed up blood as he felt the powerful impact. The force of the kick was so strong that Min-Joon's insides were destroyed, from his organs to his ribs, which pierced his lungs.

Min-Joon was instantly sent hurtling through the air. He crashed into a wall, shattering it and causing a massive dust cloud to billow upwards, and just like that, he died. Ji-Hoon walked up to him and stood over his body with an emotionless look on his face.

With a slight smirk playing on his lips, he said, "He's dead," muttering with an air of finality. "Good."

The onlookers had their eyes wide with shock and fear. Even Valvay was shocked by this. "Such power..."

[All constellations are now watching you closely.]

The message was not unexpected. He had just showcased a brutal attack that left his target lifeless with a single blow.

"Tck," Ji-Hoon clicked his tongue. "Those bastards treating us like we're some show."

"Well, can't say it's a bad thing." Ji-Hoon knew that the sinister constellations often rewarded acts of extreme violence, especially if they disrupted the natural order.

They liked seeing chaos unfold, and Ji-Hoon had just delivered.

Valvay whistled, "Would you look at that, your chat feed is off the charts! You're already building a fan base, mostly from sinister constellations. They'd like to know just who exactly you are?"

[You Have Received Coins From Several Constellations.]

The system window reappeared with a notification. They were donations. The constellations did not speak; they rarely did. But their donations were a sign that Ji-Hoon's actions had captured their interest.

The coins represented more than just approval; they were a form of currency.

The more coins Ji-Hoon accumulated, the more resources and skills he could unlock. Sinister constellations were particularly drawn to violence and mayhem, and they seemed to find Ji-Hoon's approach intriguing.

The coins continued to pour in. Ji-Hoon understood the benefits of gaining the constellations' favor, but he also knew that their attention came with expectations.

[Coins Acquired: 800]

Ji-Hoon confirmed the donations he got. He understood that now, he's drawn more attention to himself.

"These bastards, they would want more violence, chaos, and destruction... However, unlike last time, I refuse to be their plaything."
