33. Can't Let Go

"Pathetic..."

Calvin glared. "What?"

"I said.. you're pathetic."

"D*mn it..! You're asking me to fight huh?!"

Arka shrugged nonchalantly, while Calvin snorted. Calvin knew that Arka was aware of his rising emotions and that the man had deliberately provoked him to become more emotional.

"Rather than a stomach ache... want to race?" asked Arka grinning.

"After eating spicy and then racing.. it's called suicide, d*mn it," Calvin hissed.

"You might want to."

"I don't want to argue with you any more than this, that's enough."

"Yes, yes..."

After eating together, Calvin and Arka finally returned to their respective homes. Arka went to his house and immediately rested, while Calvin, who had just arrived at his house, immediately entered the toilet.

Going in and out of the toilet, Calvin kept cursing because he couldn't stand the pain in his stomach. The man complained of pain and tried to forget the problem, but unfortunately the man couldn't sleep until morning because of his stomach.

Calvin didn't want to go to school, but he didn't want to make excuses just because his stomach hurt. Calvin's own fault for doing stupid things, even though he didn't have to be like this actually just because he saw Dara and Felix dating.

"Calvin? You're like a panda again..."

"Oh?"

Calvin didn't reply to Dhian's words and chose to run around the field to carry out his punishmant, actually Calvin wasn't strong because his stomach still hurt and he was drowsy, but Calvin didn't want to look that weak.

"You must be sick?"

Calvin turned. "No, I've only been eating spicy food."

"Stomach ache huh.. you shouldn't be running like this."

"I'm not that weak, don't worry."

Dhian continued to watch Calvin who was running slowly and sluggishly, unlike usual. That made Dhian really worried, Calvin's stomach was hurting right now and he was trying to keep running around the field.

Having just run half a lap, Calvin was already crouched down with a gasp and his face suddenly turned pale. Dhian ran to Calvin in a panic.

"Are you okay? Does your stomach hurt too much?"

Calvin shook his head. "I'm just resting for a bit."

"Let's go to the side first," said Dhian.

Calvin looked closely at Dhian who was so worried about him, the man was forced to obey Dhian who helped him walk to the sidelines. After Calvin sat comfortably, Dhian said goodbye to leave for a while.

A few moments later, Dhian ran to where he left Calvin, but Dhian did not find the man. Dhian looked in all directions, apparently Calvin was not around this field.

Even though Dhian had already bought Calvin bread, medicine and mineral water. But Calvin just left, forcing Dhian to go into her school building. But when she saw the stairs where she met Calvin yesterday, Dhian decided to climb it.

Exactly as Dhian suspected, it turned out that Calvin was at the place yesterday. The girl approached Calvin and sat beside him, Calvin who felt someone sitting nearby turned to look at Dhian in surprise.

"Even though I said I was just going away for a while."

"Sorry..."

"Eat first then take medicine, this medicine relieves stomach pain."

"Thanks..."

Calvin quickly ate the bread that Dhian brought and then took a special medicine for himself, after taking the medicine, Dhian patted her thigh so that Calvin rested comfortably.

"Sorry, you're being truant..."

"No problem."

Calvin lay down and made Dhian's thighs as a pillow for his head, the man then closed his eyes and tried to sleep comfortably.

A few moments later, Dhian's hand unconsciously stroked Calvin's head, the hair down to the man's cheek. Dhian looked sadly at Calvin's condition from yesterday, she couldn't help but worry.

"What's the problem this time?"

"Hmm.. Dara.. yesterday she dated Mr. Felix and kept getting mad at me, she hates me..."

"That's not true, Vin..."

"She said it firmly, Dhian.. it hurts.. I don't know how to deal with it anymore..."

"What does Dara really want?"

"She wanted me to apologize to Mr. Felix, but it wasn't my fault, Mr. Felix deserved it."

"What do you get?" asked Dhian frowning.

"It..."

Calvin did not answer, the man's voice was not heard again until Dhian again stroked Calvin's hair gently. She wouldn't have asked further if Calvin didn't want to say it.

.

"Arka, open it!"

"Won't."

"Arka! Don't be like this!"

"Tsk, it's so noisy, Calvin. This is for you too!"

"No.. don't.. don't! Don't do that!"

"Just wait until the doctor puts you to sleep."

"Arka.. how dare you..."

"Oh? I see? I wouldn't let my best friend go to the afterlife sillyly just because of an illness."

"Stop it, Arka..."

"If you want to be angry.. just be angry with Dhian! She herself wants to donate her heart to you! I hate her! She is really stupid for loving you too much!"

.

.

"Dhian.. no.. no!"

Calvin screamed in frustration when he woke up with a ragged breath, Calvin looked so disheveled that he felt someone hug him.

"Calvin.. I'm here.. calm down, you just had a bad dream..."

"Dhian..."

Calvin, who was initially so frustrated, began to feel calm when he felt Dhian's warm embrace, the man closed his eyes remembering the dream that was ringing in his mind.

"Does your stomach still hurt?" asked Dhian to make sure.

Calvin shook his head. "No, the medicine just worked really fast..."

"Um... Calvin?"

"Yes?"

"May I go back to class?"

Dhian asked uncomfortable because she felt her embrace tighten and it turned out that Calvin returned the hug without wanting to let go, while Calvin who felt that Dhian wanted to let go of her embrace tightened but his embrace even more.

"Vin?"

"It's comfortable..."

"But-"

"Shh..."

Dhian was silent and no longer tried to rebel, it seems that Calvin is like this when he has problems, especially after having a bad dream. But different from Dhian's thinking, Calvin is very afraid of losing Dhian because of his dream just now.

Before Calvin woke up, in that dream Arka shouted that Dhian seemed to have sacrificed for himself because of love. Calvin doubts that Dhian has those feelings for him, but Calvin is just really scared.

Even though it was just a dream, for some reason Calvin had a bad feeling about this dream. Calvin was scared, he was really scared right now. What he dreams of is very different from the problem with Dara, it seems for now only Dhian will continue to be with him as long as Dara stays away from him.

Calvin let go of his embrace while distancing himself after realizing that he had held Dhian for so long. "I'll go to the toilet and then go straight to class, you can go to the cafeteria later with Arka. No problem, right?"

Dhian nodded, Calvin got up and helped Dhian to get up from her seat. Dhian walked away first, while Calvin still stood where he was looking at Dhian's distant back.

"Dhian," Calvin called making Dhian turn her head. "Whatever happens.. don't ever do anything stupid okay."

"Eh?"
