Chapter 1 : The Awakening

Shadows, Darkness, BLOOD. "LILITH!!! USE A SABER SLASH!" Shouts a man bathed in darkness. "IM ON IT!!!" The girl yells and slashes into the being of darkness.

Hello! I'm Lilith Score! I'm a 5'2 Brunette with Hazel Eyes, I'm not Fat nor am I Ripped. I'm Average. Well my appearance is. There's one thing about me that is Extraordinary...I'm a Grim. You may be wondering what a Grim is, well it's a supernatural human orientated creature. They use pure light to take out the dark and evil beings known as ghouls.

I'm currently attending a school that is the top in Ghoul Hunter Training...West Lake High. I'm currently training to be a Huntress of the Dark and a Bringer of the Light. I've been blessed with these powers and now it's high time I use them. I lost most of my memories and both my parents in a freak accident. I can hardly remember anything before that day.

"Lilith?" The shadowed man asks. "Oh yes, sorry Nathaniel I let my mind wander." He sighs. "It's fine Lilith, but we must not dilly dally, Grand Huntress Amaria contacted me. She wants you to return as soon as possible to clear your Light training." I look at him with a flash of disbelief. "I thought you were going to be my mentor after Sir Haynes perished?"

He looks at me and sighs. "Lady Amaria saw great potential in you...she talked to the prince since Haynes was his old guardian of light and approved of you taking his place after your training." I look at him in awe. "You're telling me one of the Royal Princes of this kingdom wants me to be his new Light Guardian?" "Yes." I freeze. "Lilith, don't get it twisted. He only wants you because you were Haynes' only apprentice."

"Wait, seriously? I thought Sir Haynes had quite a few." He chuckles. "Lilith, you were the only one he found worthy after centuries of searching for someone to be the apprentice of him. He knew that the day he would perish and you would take over." "O-ok! When does Amaria want me around for training." He smiles. "Go now and make it early, I'll clean up here." My face turns bright. "Thank you Nathaniel!"

I start running to my horse on hop on her. "Hya! Let's ride Nia!" I swiftly take off with my steed. The prince sees me fit? Wow...my time has come. Wait...which prince am I serving?? Haynes never told me about his loyalty as a Guardian....well I'll have to ask Grand Huntress Amaria when I arrive...
