28. No Stoppin Now!

"What did you do down there?!"

Arthur landed back in the water and made a huge rippling of water that kept splashing Clari's face continuously.

"Ah-! Ah-! Sto-! is-! now-!"

Arthur successfully landed and grabbed Clari out of the water.

"Sorry, hahahaha!"

The water calmed down and the waves have now become a small rippling of water.

"What we're you doing down there?".

"I was just exploring..."

"Why jump out?!"

"Hahaha, I was at the moment ok!"

Clari gave up on the argument and sighed. Then she giggled and two started laughing once again.

They laid on the hard rock floors and Arthur was calming down his built up insanity.

But the entire thing will soon be disturbed.

As this break will not last long. It was time for action.

"I can feel something...". Said by Clari.

A gigantic rock golem appeared from the underground.

It was so large that when it just emerged from the water and half the walls of the cave.

The damage was so noticeable that you could actually see the sky.

Rocks and rubbles flew everywhere.

'Mortal's Will.'.

All the rocks stopped in the middle of the air.

"What the?! You could do this?"

"Well I could now." It seems like the surge of adrenaline of Arthur meant something.

It was a sign that the power he originally practiced before in a lucid dream was finally showing itself once again. 'I mean, this skill is so overpowered, I would just be pissed if I couldn't use it.'.

Clari immediately equiped her clothing from the ground and ran directly at the goblin stepping at the floating rocks.

"Arthur! Let's go!"

"I can't really... move while using this..." Said by Arthur.

Arthur replied as soon as Clari was already in the middle of the air jumping towards the golem that her entire body was just at the size of the golem's eyes.

Arthur was not just holding the flying rocks, he was holding the entire mountain from collapsing entirely.

The golem waved it's hands aiming for the small ant in front of his face.

As Clari was in the middle of the air she had absolutely no way to dodge.

"God damn it, a giant body, yet he is this fast? If I could use the first form... maybe I can do the others..."

'Destiny.' Arthur failed...

From failing to use another one of his sword forms... he saw Clari... die...

"...". Arthur was staring blankly at the golem. He was absolutely affected by the scene so much so that it completely made his entire mind blank.

Arthur lost all his entire consciousness like he even forgot he could just go back and save her. Arthur... you've grown.

When Arthur died, he was woken up from his temporary mind coma.

Arthur uttered no words and went back to the latest auto save.

At the time when Clari was already climbing towards the golem. Arthur was thinking deeply about what he could do.

First, he could remove the control of the entire mountain, but that would mean burying both of them together underground.

But if he doesn't move... he will forever be stuck at seeing "her" die.

Arthur had infinite tries, that he knew. He has to use it to its complete capabilities. But what Arthur failed to notice at that time was that he was in the death penalty...

Arthur removed Mortal's Will and made Clari lose her step and fall down accidentally.

Arthur failed once again, but thankfully this time Clari didn't die, as she landed in the water-

The golem grabbed Clari with his hands and crushed her as she was falling.

Arthur was so desperate at the moment, his entire reasoning has now disappeared. Arthur... wake up, please wake up...

Once again at the same place he first started. The save he returned to.

Arthur immediately released his skill.

Arthur was already on the second stack of the death penalty. And Clari died once again...

Arthur realized he had a death penalty and went back to the first save he ever made.

As soon as Arthur arrived he swung his sword and threw a tantrum.

He was so mad he even threw his sword and almost everything in his inventory.

"Fuck! Fuck!"

Without his own control and realization. Tears flew down Arthur's eyes.

"What in the fuck!"

Arthur threw and threw many items, and when he ran out of throwable items he cuddled himself into a box.

"It was just a fucking woman?! Life is too fucking hard."

"I'm a simp thats it right?! It's not cause I was attached to an actual living thing hahahaha! Yeah thats it." Arthur laughed and neglected himself. As tears still continuously dropped down from his eyes, is the death of a person truly that sad.

Was it truly that sad even though he could always go back. Is seeing someone "important" to you die really hurt that much.

Was that really what Arthur was supposed to feel... "I didn't cry when my grandparents died... I didn't cry when my dad died.... I didn't cry when my mom died...".

Arthur smiled like he was insane and has lost his entire control and insanity. "So I was human after all... So my entire life was just a lie!".

Arthur's eyes and mouth enlarged so much it was entirely disturbing to see.

Arthur stayed like that for hours. Much longer than what he originally needed...

"I went to another world to change... but you keep fucking coming back!"

"Phew."

Arthur finally found inner peace and he was ready to go back.

Though before completely deciding to go back, Arthur tried to regain the power of his actual sword style. But once again it still didn't work.

Arthur went back to a save point that he had named subconciously without him knowing as "AHHHHHH".

"Well how hysterical."

Arthur had an entire plan this time. Arthur just had to cancel his 'Mortal's Will' and activate [Pseudo-Dragon Speed] Immediately. And after upgrading it, he is now much faster than any being on the continent... Or well as he thinks.

All the rocks started to fall but Arthur didn't have to worry about that.

[Pseudo-Dragon Speed Activated.]

With a 5 times speed increase. That was just insane.

In only a span of a few seconds Arthur was able to grab Clari and bring her outside the cave and outside the vicinity of the entire mountain.

"I can't waste my duration. Wait here, i'll try my best.'

"Wait what?"

Without wasting any opportunity, Arthur ran as fast as he could to kill the giant golem as soon as he can.

But sadly he was stopped as even just that a few seconds of talking to Clari had already made the entire mountain collapse and made the entire golem disappear.

Now that the golem situation was resolved for some time. Arthur went back to Clari and-

"What?! Why are you suddenly huggi-". Clari didn't talk any further when he saw Arthur was crying... all she did was hug him back.

In a dark room, in the same place Arthur met Kraul, there he was again, hearing a report from one of his spies.

"It is urgent news my lord." A goblin in entire black clothing. With his entire body covered, his identity could easily be recognized.

"I already know, Mount(ain) Her has collapsed.". Kraul didn't pay attention to the goblin and was still just looking down at his desk doing paperwork.

"It is not that my lord."

"Then what is it." It peeked a little of Kraul's interest. A "Shadow" agent only belongs to the "Beauty Devil". He thought what else could he have.

"I am not making assumptions without enough concrete proof..."

Kraul changed his focus entirely. Arthur couldn't have betrayed him right. That wasn't it right. That couldn't be it-

"... Arthur was hugging the "Beauty Devil" intensely.". Kraul stood up in rage. He smashed his table to almost breaking it if he just didn't control his strength. The entire room was filled with deep pressure.

The spy fainted from so much energy.

The amount of energy even made Seves enter the room to check on what was happening.

"What happened?!"

The entire energy in the room then instantly disappeared. "I almost thought he betrayed me." Kraul's entire face was filled with relief, joy and sadness.

"What happened?! Like what ha-"

"Arthur was seen hugging the "Beauty Devil"." The entire room was once again filled with so much pressure that it was cracking the walls.

"Calm down Seves, it's ok, he is just that good. Hahahaha."

The pressure disappeared again, this was starting to feel annoying.

Seves sighed. "I guess so, but, I didn't know he could pull it off."

"I guess that's why he was taking so long there."

"Well we can't do anything about it." Seves came closer to the desk and laid there with his feet still touching the ground.

"Get off my desk."

"I don't want to... I have no chance anymore, I lost..."

"We all lost, we all lost, Seves... it was him, that was her fated one..."
