Game of Thrones-The Black Lord

(Sequel To “For The Queen, Not The Prince”) It all started in Summerhall. Aegon The Unlikely’s attempt at resurrecting the Dragons was successful but at the cost of his life. The fire was able to be put out, not before it took Aegon V's life as well as his son, Ser Duncan The Tall, and a few rooms. Ever since then, the events that decide the fate of Westeros had vastly changed. Dragons had returned; it was said that during the night of the fire, a bright crimson comet was seen in the night sky. During the end of King Aerys’s reign, a Rebellion started. But it wasn’t started by Robert Baratheon due to Rhaegar’s actions. Robert instead fought for the Targaryens and was married to a Princess which resulted with them having a son, Rhaegon. Rhaegon Baratheon is the rider of Morghul, a massive Black Dragon that Hatched at the end of the Rebellion started by the River Dragon. He was not just named after the Dragon that was bound to Aegon III's first wife and cousin, Jaehera but because of Rhaegon's unique sense of humor as he inherited his mother's spirit. The Pretender's Army II

[a/n: How are we liking the pacing so far? Too fast? Too slow? I don't know. I've decided not to drag out anything for too long. I don't want this story to go past 200 chapters and if I don't finish it within those 200 chapters, there will be a sequel as planned.

"For The Queen, Not The Prince" will be the same, I'll try to finish that one within 150 chapters and if I don't, well, it's fine.

I just hate dragging things out and I've noticed that my biggest flaws is unfinished stories. I guess I'm like George in that regard lmao. I'll try to wrap things up by 200 or less. But if you feel like there are so many unanswered questions, that's because I plan for there to be a direct sequel to this story; The Long Night.

You can probably guess what I'm trying to get to.

Anyways, let me know.]

[Somewhere In Essos, Further East]

(Third Person POV)

Valerion Blackfyre walked through the halls of what looked like an ancient temple, littered with torches.

He had an annoyed look on his face as he followed a single woman draped in a black veil, longer than the one he was used to.

"My spies claim that Rhaegon Baratheon has left Summerhall empty. Now is the time to act for me to take the Ember of Light and yet you call me all this way???" Valerion said as behind him, several armored men walked

The Woman in front of him, "Liun can handle that operation. Melisandre will receive the word and she will have his Burning Stag march forth as planned." She said, "How goes the Black Fleet's moving?"

"In a couple of weeks, they'd be carted through the Dothraki Sea and through the Free Cities." Valerion said, "I'll have them ready in Bravoos, Pentos, and Myr by the time our invasion begins. The plan is to push the Dothraki through Dorne on the Golden Company's fleet and if Euron Greyjoy agrees with my offer, he'll usurp his Brother's seat and he'll invade the North with your Black Army to cut the South off."

The Woman nodded, a faint glow of green in her eyes, "Good." She said, "Your Father was wise to make you the leader."

"I'm a busy man, I can't be called all the way over here just to see him struggle to breath." Valerion said, "High Priestess, this was a waste of time."

"That is where you're wrong." The High-Priestess said with a chuckle, "He's awake. In pain, but awake. He's the one that called for you."

Valerion widened his eyes, "He did?" He said, "Why weren't we informed of this?"

"There is no need." The High Priestess said, "You are the only one that he'd bother to inform. We're here."

They reached two massive stone doors that were guarded by massive men clad in armor. She gave them a nod and the men opened the doors, pushing the large stone slabs with ease as Valerion was hit with a gust of wind.

"I..." He said as he covered his face

He looked past the opened doors, seeing a massive room that was as large to fit an entire building inside.

"Hm..." He said, "I was always unsettled by this room."

He heard loud chanting coming from the room, something that he never liked to hear.

"Let us go." The High Priestess said as she took a step forward

Valerion followed, looking around and seeing several people prostrating on the ground as they chanted in High-Valyrian. They varied from men, women, and children, all of them prostrated as they chanted loudly.

Valerion was unsettled by this, knowing full well what they were doing.

He then saw at the far edges of the room, several women draped in black veils, similar to Liun and the High Priestess. These, however, were holding their large pregnant bellies as they sat there, the glow of their green eyes were seen through the veils.

"Hm..." Valerion said as he and the High Priestess reached what looked like steps that lead to an altar

Suddenly, Valerion heard a deep rumbling that shook the entire room and ground.

"Tch..." Valerion said, "It's awake now, huh?"

Valerion looked up to the right top of the room and saw a single glowing green eye stare right at him. The outline of a massive black shadow was high above them, emitting a dark mist as Valerion stood there, behind the High Priestess.

The chanting got louder as the rumbling started, almost as a response.

Valerion saw that the shadow reached down to the altar, making out the outline of a massive scaly leg right at top of the altar.

He watched as the High Priestess walked up the steps, standing in front of what looked like a shadowy wing, right in front of her.

"Hm." She said before looking up

"Open." She said in High Valyrian

There was a deep growl and the shadowy wing moved, revealing the scaly leg that was fused into the ground. The ground shook slightly as this happened and the High Priestess spread some strange gold dust in the air as she chanted some words in a foreign language that wasn't High-Valyrian or Dothraki.

Valerion looked up and frowned, "May I step forth?"

"Yes, come forth, Valerion Blackfyre." She said

Valerion took a step on the steps and the growling got louder. He looked up to see the glowing eye pierce right through him, noticing a massive maw opening up as green fumes emitted from it. If not obvious, this was a Dragon, an extremely massive one, larger than both Morghul and Drogon combined.

The chanting got even louder.

"Zaldrizes Jaes, O Zaldrizes Jaes, Show Mercy Zaldrizes Jaes."

"Tch." Valerion scowled, "Stupid beast."

"Dohaeras!" Valerion commanded in High-Valyrian, "I am of Fire and Blood! I am Valerion Blackfyre, Descendant of The King Who Bore The Sword!"

The Dragon moved it's head, causing tremors in the ceiling and the room and looked at Valerion.

"Heel." The High Priestess commanded

The Dragon stopped and let out a low snarl, moving its head back and looking at Valerion with its glowing eye.

Valerion then sighed, "That one never liked me." He said as he walked up the steps

As he reached the top and stood next to the High Priestess, his heart began to beat faster, almost as if his body began to respond to the presence of what the High Priestess was looking at.

Valerion narrowed his eyes, "F-Father...." he said

In front of him, fused to the massive leg of the dragon, a shriveled old man was seen. While his stature was tall, taller than both the High Priestess and Valerion, his entire body was pale and thin, wrinkled completely. His hair was completely grey as it flowed to his shoulders. His face was clean-shaven, but the left side of his face was covered in deep scars.

Both his eyes were closed as the head was hung over, a raspy and heavy breathing was heard. Valerion noticed pieces of what he assumed were tissue, connected to his back, his left arm was completely embedded in the dragon's leg and his right arm and leg were free but still, some tissue was still connected to his leg and hips.

Valerion scowled at the woman, "I thought you said he was awake!" He exclaimed

The Dragon growled deeply in response to this hostile remark.

"Silence!!" Valerion shouted at the beast

The Dragon opened its maw once again, a deep green glow was seen from it.

"Enough." A Raspy and weak voice said in High-Valyrian

The Dragon stopped its growling and rested its head back against the wall, almost immediately.

Valerion looked at the man who was fused to the dragon's leg, "Father!" He said

"Valerion." The Man said weakly, "Come closer....."

Valerion looked at the High Priestess who nodded.

"Y-Yes." He said as he stepped closer

The Man slowly raised his hand, without lifting his head or opening his eyes, and gently patted Valerion's cheek.

"You....." He managed weakly, "You are close."

Valerion nodded, "Y-Yes...." He said

"Do not be like your Brother." The Man said, "Do not be stupid."

Valerion nodded, "N-No, Father. Vaegon overstepped." He said, "He was impatient. Our plan was to invade together. With our dragons and Khal Daegon's, the Targaryen Dragons won't stand a chance."

"You.....children of mine...." The Man said softly, "Always so prone to childish impulses....Vaegon.....was stupid....He reminds me of the first Vaegon.....Braedaz....."

"F-Father...." Valerion said, "Are you well? When will you reawaken?"

The Man lifted his face as he lowered his hand. His left eye suddenly opened, revealing it to be a glowing green dragon eye.

This took Valerion by surprise, who was hit by a quick wave of pressure.

"When will I reawaken, you ask?" The Man said with a firmer and healthier tone, "When I am ready, boy...Do not pressure me. You'll do as you're told."

Valerion took a step back, "Y-Yes, Father." He said, "Of course. Of course. I've planned ahead, I believe that we'd taken Westeros by then."

"Good." The Man's voice got louder and distorted, "You're a good soldier, Boy. But that's not the reason I called you here."

Valerion looked at him, "W-What?"

The Man then reached down and grabbed the handle of what looked like a sword embedded in stone. With ease, he pulled it out and handed it to Valerion.

"Take this." The Man said with a deep and distorted voice, "In my place, you'll sit the Iron Throne with the Conqueror's Sword."

"With Blackfyre."
