The First Tragedy/Back Story

When I was young, my father caught a terrible disease that made him stay in the hospital. Almost every day, my mother and I would visit so that he wouldn't feel alone or sad.

Yesac, my brother, also came sometimes because he had school.

6 months after being hospitalized, the doctors said he was no longer in the world of the living.

I was devastated thinking I won't be able to see him again.

When I was 11, my mother, my brother, and I were grocery shopping. When we were crossing the street, a car running from the police rushed over to us and my mother pushed us out of the way.

My brother and I cried over mom's body while people called for an ambulance. When I was alone with my brother I realized I wanted love from a family.
