Freely Falling

Free falling is the worst kind of falling. It's the kind of fall where you lose control of it, there's no hope to land on you feet and always the promise of pain. I never anticipated that I would be free falling right now. Right into a dark abyss that consumes all. A dark abyss called love and its calling my name. They tell me that you can always land on your feet and get back up, but what I'm facing you can't get back up from. "How could I have been so reckless?" I ask myself, "To fall for one of his kind is death and now I must walk the plank."
