The (Dark) Piece of the Puzzle

"Alright, ladies...you both clearly have no control over your powers." Galaxy stated.

"So that's why we are here to change that." Goldie said.

"Don't you have someone to be making out with?" Galaxy said, nudging Goldie.

Goldie gives Galaxy an angry glare.

"Anyways!" Galaxy nervously said.

"We need to see what you can do. Darla you're up first. We need to see if Raw Power means strength/endurance or something different. So i have this block of steel!" Goldie said as he picks up the giant block of steel.

"Kick it." Galaxy said to Darla, pointing at the steel block.

"Sounds easy enough." Darla said.

Darla closes her eyes and exhales slowly. She kicks the steel block and it completely shatters.

Goldie and Galaxy stand there in shock.

"I guess it means strength?" Darla said, laughing.

"I guess it does." Goldie said, grabbing another steel block.

"Scarlett, let's see what you can do to this steel block." Goldie said, anticipating an explosion or something.

"Watch this." Scarlett said, lifting up her hand.

A dark orb comes out of the ground and phases into the middle of the steel block.

The steel block begins to shake. Its shape begins changing. The once very shiny steel block is now a rusted, melted mess on the ground. The steel hardens.

"Ew." Galaxy said after a few seconds of silence.

"Guys, we got a problem." London said from the backdoor.

Everyone walks inside.

"What is it?" Galaxy asked.

London moves the hair away from his eye only to reveal a giant crack.

Goldie gasps.

"I think when IL and Icey were forced together, it broke my physical form..." London said, trying to cover the crack.

"Hang on..." Goldie said, looking down.

A ball of what looks to be a vicious acid is seen and floats up to London's crack on his face.

"What the hell is that? That looks very poisonous..." London said, backing up.

"It is." Goldie said as he applies it to the crack.

"What?!" London screamed as he jumps back.

"Only to people I don't care about though." Goldie said, winking at London.

The crack begins to heal and his eye returns to normal.

"How did you get such a crack on your face to begin with?" Galaxy asked.

"Before you guys saved me, Gavin was hitting up on Icey big time. When physical forms get cracks like this, it's typically psychological..." London explained.

Goldie stood there speechless.

"I don't think you should've told him that..." Scarlett said, looking at Goldie.

Silence reigns supreme in the house for a few minutes then is suddenly broken by a clash of thunder.

"He wants abusive...? I'll give him abusive..." Goldie said, snarling.

Goldie cracks his neck and walks out the door.

"Wait...! Don't go." London said, grabbing Goldie's hand.

"We can't let them still be out there! We have to find them and kill them!" Goldie yelled.

"He's right you know. None of us can control our powers yet. Hell, I still see random crystals coming out of the ground." Scarlett said as she looks towards Galaxy.

Galaxy nervously laughs.

Goldie sighs and closes the door.

"You guys are right. I hate having to watch as London suffers. They think they can get away with it, but not for long. I'll get my chance some day." Goldie said, clenching his fist.

"You will don't worry. Now come on. We need to do something about those immense anger issues you have." Scarlett said.

Goldie and Scarlett walk into the backyard. It starts to lightly rain.

Everyone is looking at them from the window.

"Now Goldie. When you close your eyes, what do you see?" Scarlett asked calmly.

"Nothing." Goldie remarks.

Darla snickers.

"I know that. What do you see?" Scarlett asked again.

"I see...my plan of demise for Gavin." Goldie said, smiling.

"Damn. Can't argue with that. That is lowkey satisfying." Scarlett said, shrugging.

"What else do you see?" Scarlett asked.

"I see London." Goldie said with a slightly red face.

"They are getting happier. What else do you see?" Scarlett asked again.

"I see IL and Icey." Goldie responded.

"You know, the two of them are similar to the relationship you have with London." Scarlett said.

"What do you mean?" Goldie asked back.

"IL and Icey have been together for a very long time. Long before any of us were even thought of in the head. London is the product of their relationship. You can say is like their kid pretty much." Scarlett said.

Goldie thinks for a moment.

"When London's powers activate he's not London anymore. He's the fusion between Icey and IL." Scarlett continued.

"So, that's why his physical form is so unstable." Goldie said, looking at the ground.

"Exactly. You know if you are not careful...you might accidentally fuse with London. He has that ability. He fused with Galaxy once and the fusion was so toxic that it couldn't exist on its own." Scarlett said.

"How would that even work?" Goldie asked, vividly confused.

"Everyone has a physical form. What you see, hear, taste, smell, and feel is all part of your physical form. London is different. He's like Oxygen. It can't exist on its own, so it looks for another one to bond with it." Scarlett said as it begins to rain harder.

"When you think about it, IL and Icey make up the only two emotions he can't control. So when someone fuses with London, they don't see the relationship between IL and Icey. They see the relationship they have with London and how bad/good it really is..." Scarlett said.

"I had no idea..." Goldie said.

Scarlett puts her hand on Goldie's shoulder.

"No one does at first...once you get to know London, you'll see that it's far from over..." Scarlett said walking back inside.

Scarlett is sopping wet from the pouring rain.

"I think he's going to be much better on now." Scarlett said.

"I'm gonna go grab a change of clothes." Scarlett said walking upstairs.

London walks outside. The rain begins to clear.

"Hey..." London said walking up behind Goldie.

Goldie hugs London.

"Come on, let's go to bed. You look exhausted" London said taking Goldie inside.

"Darla, what do you think about this situation?" Galaxy asked.

"I think Goldie finally realized that there's more to London than what meets the eye. He finally has seen his true colors and he wants to be a part of that." Darla said.

"That's some deep stuff..." Galaxy said, thinking.

"Come on, help me make this cake, tomorrow is a special day." Darla said.

"Alright!" Galaxy happily agreed.
