The rendezvous strategy Joseph initially wrote down went south as Affin was in Chaos when they arrived. Creatures were flying around picking civilians then dropped chunks of their body when they had had enough.

" What's happening? " A scared knight asked to draw out his sword to defend himself. Others followed .

" I don't know but the mission continues. The earlier we find them the better for us" Joseph confidently urged his horse to ride faster.

" What about them?" They asked as other creatures dropped dead civilians a few meters from them .

'" not our problem. We can't save them trust me" Joe responded, averting his eyes from the gruesome ways people were being mauled. Where they came from he didn't know but he hoped the king was doing something about it cos at this rate he'll have no one to rule over.

He might become a King without a kingdom. God forbid.
