Caroline’s POV

I knew that sooner or later, Hannah’s friends would call me. I knew they would come to know about me informing him and I am ready.

I went to the hospital and as soon as I entered it, her friends gathered around me. I knew each one of them, but only Ivan knew me.

“Hey Ivan”

“So she is Caroline?” Ryan asked.

“Yup I am”

“You did this to her?” His voice was rather cool and calm.

“Well… am I being investigated?”

“Answer me, I will answer you”

“No, I didn’t do anything to her”

He sighed. “And you are, well, being asked questions so you can consider yourself as being investigated too”

“But I didn’t do anything!”

“Police only investigate people who they are not sure of being guilty”

I sighed. “Alright. Then what do you wanna know?”

“How did you know about her? Where did you find her? Why did you tell Ivan of all people?”

“Why will I tell you?”

“Right. So that means, you know something. That means… Hannah wasn’t lying”
