Forced Fondness: loving you right

"Mom I told you I'm not getting married to Yoonjin". Chaeyoung said as she fold her hand angrily and sat on the chair.

Her mother slowly walked to her and gently placed her hand on hers. Chaeyoung looked at her mother for a while before retreated her gaze from her.

"Chae, I just want the best for you, I'm already getting old and I don't think you're ready to settle down". Mrs Seo Jihyo continued; "Mrs Park also loves you and she'll make a perfect mother in-law".

"Mom, if I am to get married to Mrs Park it'll be better that getting married to Park Yoonjin, because at least I know her". Chaeyoung said as she turned to look at her mother's sad face, she pouted and held her hand. "Mom come on, I barely even know Yoonjin, and I have only seen him few times, so the marriage ain't gone work, and besides I have a boyfriend who happened to also be Yoonjin's cousin ".

"Chaeyoung, that Levis or whatever only wants you because of the company, he doesn't love you".

"Mom it's Elvis not levis". Chaeyoung murmured but her mom only rolled her eyes. "And mom, you only said he doesn't love me because you don't like him". Chaeyoung paused for a while and continued again but this time her voice was softer. "Mom, he was the only one who stood by me after what dad did which brought up some rumors about us, he defended us mom".

Mrs Seo stared at her angrily as she stood up from the couch.

" listen to me Seo Chaeyoung you are going to get married to Yoonjin and that's final, and don't you ever bring the issue about your father". She said angrily.

"I'm not getting married to Yoonjin and there's nothing you can do, cause you don't own my damn life, I'll make my decisions myself so take it or not". Chaeyoung screamed angrily as she stood up to her feet, she grabbed her bag from the couch and stormed out of the house.

Mrs Seo folded her hand in a fist as she looked the direction Chaeyoung went through. She slowly sat on the couch with her hand caressing her head.

"Mam, are you alright?". The maid who had witnessed their argument asked worriedly, as she gave her a glass of water.

"Thank you". Mrs Seo said and took the glass from her. "I'll be fine".

"Let's have the meeting tomorrow cause in what I can see now no one here have a good idea", Yoonjin closed the file in front of him and tossed it to Lucas who was standing beside him. "Even if we attempt any of your ideas, there's a 70 percent chance that it is going to crash, so let's all work together and bring a better plan shall we?". Everyone one remained quiet as they nodded. Yoonjin gave a light sigh and stood from his chair heading towards the door.

"Sir your mom's in your office". Lucas said as he strolled behind him. Yoonjin suddenly halted as he turned around to look at Lucas. "Why is she here?".

"She didn't say". Yoonjin pinched the space between his brows as they walked to his office.

"Ohh, look at my baby boy". Mrs Park said as soon as yoonjin walked in. She quickly moved to him and gave him a quick hug.

Breaking from the hug she held his hand and dragged him to the couch, she helped him sit and drew a small table close to him. She grabbed a dosirak lunchbox from the couch and brought the dosirak case.

Yoonjin sat quietly as he looked at his mom.

"What do you want, mom?". He said when she finally sat with him. She ignored his words and served some of the dish in a small plate, she scoop from it and raised it towards his mouth. "Ahhhh". She mouthed but Yoonjin kept looking at her with his mouth closed.

Mrs Park stared at him for a while then finally dropped the food down, she gave a light sigh and turned to face Yoonjin.

"I wanted to discuss something with you".

Yoonjin nodded as he relaxed his back on the couch. "If it's about me getting married to Chaeyoung I'm still not agreeing to that".

"Come on Yoonjin, you'll like her when you see her this time, she already grown and mature and besides this is going to make the bond between our family stronger, you know how much I love Chaeyoung". Mrs Park said as she place her hand on his, wearing a sad face. Yoonjin looked at his mother and smiled.

"You know that doesn't work for me right?".

"Yoonjin come on, you are almost 40 and I'm not getting any younger, can I at least hold my grandchild, what if one day I sleep and don't wakeup,uhhh?". Yoonjin held his mother gently. "You're not going to die ok, and besides I'm just 32, you're still pretty and young as always mom".

"Jin ahh, come on at least do this for me ohh?, at least meet with her ". Yoonjin closed his eyes and gave a heavy sigh. "I'll meet with her but that doesn't mean I'm going to get married to her".

Mrs Park nodded happily as she stood up from the couch holding her purse.

"Finally, I'll book a fancy restaurant for you two". She said happily walking towards the door." Oh, and don't forget to eat your food,hmm?". Yoonjin nodded as he watched his mother happily leaving the office.
