Fighting The Past

I was walking home, my curls bouncing with every step. I was very rich sure. But I loved the feeling I got from working, just knowing that the money in my hands was a result of my hard work puts butterflies in my stomach. I was an actress, but also a cashier. I enjoyed my cashier job everyone there treated me as if I was not famous, no special treatment nothing.

'Totally isn't I threatened them to not treat me as if I was a famous actress'.

People in this neighborhood were very rich, but the ones that came to the supermarket were usually people who were not so lucky. I felt bad for them, I was born into luxury while they could've been born on the side of the street.

When a customer didn't have any money, I would pay for their food. I always told them to go grab more food I would pay for it all. If they could I would tell them to take the whole store. The smiles on their faces when They get all that food makes my day. That is why I am considered the Better twin. My twin sister and I are very important people in the show biz. People tend to look at my sister as the picky, beautiful, kind, and smart one. But when they see her next to me, no one goes to her.

It pisses me off because me and my sister are IDENTICAL, and when people come to me saying I'm so beautiful I tell them to say it to the woman next to me first. My sister Madeline is the most beautiful woman on this planet, If I were a man I would want to marry her. I am the smarter, kinder and sassier twin. When people bully my sister you better expect me to come out and save her.

Boys are always trying to find their way inside our worlds. I personally hate when people try to force love on someone. It's very much stupid, I have told my mother that If she ever try to get me a husband I would much rather be homeless.

But today I was caught with a surprise. As I walked inside my home I hear my mom in the living area talking to someone.

I walk in and say Hi as usual "Hello mother, I'm home."

"Sweetie, meet Mrs Peru and her Husband Mr Peru." The Peru's were one of the most famous families in England. With the exception of the Royal family.

"Hello nice to meet you." Out of the corner of my eye I spot a handsome man in a leather Jacket standing next to Mr Peru. I was starting to wonder what my mother was doing. I've told her before that I don't want to be forced into a marriage.

"We have been discussing a marriage between you and their son Kaden." I starting shooting daggers as I stared at my mother.

When I finally spoke 4 words "I rather be Homeless." The look in Mrs Peru's eyes could've been enough for me to think she was about to scream.

Who was this girl to think that she is better than my son. Kaden is probably better than her in everything possible either way. I should've listened to them when they said Madeline was the nicer twin.

But the smile on my Son's face said it all. He loved woman who stood their ground. So that is why I thought Mira would be a better choice for them, guess I was wrong.

"Honey please give it a try, he's a good man donates to charity. He knows 13 languages, and he's the top in his class." My mother thinks this is gonna change my opinion, please.

"When I say no I mean no, mother." I did not move an inch as I spoke, I am not afraid of the Peru's.

"Honey, I know your stubborn but just give it a try. If I can't get you to accept I'll have to try your sister."

"You witch, your not forcing my sister into marriage either. I don't care if it was you who pushed me out of your vagina I do not care."

The look on my mother's face said it all, she knew she would not get me to agree with this marriage but she never expected me to say that.
