Chapter 3 : Meeting Mr Wong.

The secretary smiled at Calcel and said. " Sir , Please follow this way "

Calcel nodded and followed to his office. He got inside and sat on his office chair before a large desk.

" Call me if you need anything . I will leave for now ! " The secretary said and turned to leave when Calcel stopped her.

" Excuse me ? " He asked.

The secretary turned to look at him with a smile. " Yes please ! " She said lovingly.

" You didn't tell me your name ? " Calcel asked.

" Am May. Secretary May . " She said still smiling.

" Oh that's good. You can leave now ! " Calcel said trying not to smile back at her.

May bowed and left the office. She was still a new secretary in the company and she looked so young just Calcel's age. She was always putting on standard outfits that exposed her beautiful features and really almost every man in the company crushed on her.

David entered his office to find a young lady seated in the sofa of his parlor. He walked to her gently when she immediately got up to greet him.

" Greetings sir. " Alyssa said with a smile and bow.

" Greetings . You are..." David asked giving his hand for a handshake.

" Am Alyssa Stuart. " Alyssa said giving her hand back.

" Oh.. Is it you the famous actress ? " David asked giving a grin.

" Of course sir. " Alyssa said.

" Oh my ! Please have a seat. " David said as he also sat down on the arm chair opposite her.

" Young lady , What brings you here ? " David asked cheerfully.

" Amm...I got this package today's early morning. " Alyssa muttered getting her phone from the purse. She put the photo of the warning note she has recieved to display and gave the phone to David.

David got the phone with a frown and read through it when he finally realized what it was.

" Oh..This is one of our debtors . " David said.

" That's true sir. Gladys Stuart is actually my mother. " Alyssa said.

" I understand it. Are you here to pay off her debt or you have something else to say ? " David gasped leaning back on the chair.

" Yes sir. I would like to pay my mother's debt but am afraid it's too much. Per now I only have five millions from my savings. I just wish you can add me some more time. " Alyssa begged.

" Ms Alyssa , You see I would like so much to help you but i am sorry that it will not be possible. " David apologized with sincerity

" Sir , You are the head of the company. Am sure you can have some mercy on me." Alyssa begged.

" You see i am nolonger the CEO of the company so things would be hard for the new CEO to take care of in case the company still has debtors. And besides that , I have warned your mother very many times but she doesn't listen. " David explained.

" Sir , What do you mean by warning her many times ? " Alyssa asked shocked.

" Look here. The debt has been there for over seven months but you can't believe that she has never even tried to pay a single coin. Am sure you will understand this as a business woman. " David narrated sadly but Alyssa was more than shocked to hear this.

" What do you mean that she had never paid anything yet I give her money every week ? And what about the profits from the shop ? " Alyssa couldn't believe it.

" I really also don't know but I heard that she gambled some money. That's why I want her to pay my debt. " David said.

Alyssa heaved a sigh not knowing what to add on that. ' So Mother started gambling again I swear I will kill her today ! ' Alyssa's inner voice talked to her innery.

" I understand that sir. Am going to try my best to get the money. Please just give me this week. " Alyssa begged.

" Okay. I will give you the week but you have to remember that the moment you fail to pay off in time , Your mother will be taken to jail which i am sure will affect your career as a celebrity. The beauty shop will get back in my hands and everything of value she owns because she already signed the contract with those terms. " David chatted.

" I have got it sir. That's why I will try my best to get the money. " Alyssa promised.

" Fine then. Make sure you do it in one week " David affirmed.

" Thank you sir for giving me the opportunity. " Alyssa said and got up to leave.

' She's more beautiful than she looks on television ! ' David's inner voice commented as he watched Alyssa leave .

Alyssa walked out of the office so angry that she wanted to cry. How was she going to pay this whole debt because of because of her mother's stupid gambling and what was going to happen to her career in case she failed to pay. And what about her family's property that Gladys had put in the contact.

" Oh no...." Alyssa cried out while she got into an elevator to the ground floor. She got into the elevator and pressed the button which after the elevator closed but before it could close fully a hand stopped it.

Alyssa looked at the hand when the elevator reopened again bringing the beautiful thing she had ever seen in her life. In front of her stood a young man who was really extremely handsome than anyone she had ever seen before. Alyssa had acted in many movies with movie stars and watched Many on television even reading through magazines but no. This creature in front of her was another level. His eyes , His nose , His lips and everything about him was just an example of who a handsome man should be. His short cut spiky hair was combed backwards really exposing everything about his and his fitting suite was just wow . Alyssa gulped as she observed this hypocrite that was standing in front of her at moment before she came back to reality and stepped aside to let him enter.
