Chapter 196: I want you to love Mom.

Juliana's face turned solemn.

" What are you talking about ? " Alyssa was finally becoming comfortable around Juliana because she was now sure that Juliana didn't know who she was exactly. And she looked pleased with Calcel's and Marvis' relationship as she was thinking per now.

" There's something wrong I did to Calcel. I don't know if he will ever forgive me. " She stated.

" Ms Juliana, Do you want to talk about it ? " She asked.

" I don't know when your relationship with him begun. But I think you must be aware that David is not Calcel's father. " Juliana declared.

Actually this was new to Alyssa.

" What ? " She asked surprised.

" Marvis, You are the woman that Calcel loves and soon you will become my daughter in.law. so...there's nothing to hide from you. " Juliana mattered out.

" So...if David is not Calcel's father ? ..who is he ..what happened ? " Alyssa asked.

" I am surprised that Calcel never told you this. " Juliana wondered.

" ..I am sorry..Maybe i shouldn't have found out this. " Alyssa apologized.

To her surprise Juliana held her hands and said. " Marvis, You forgive me for behaving weird like this. But if Calcel wakes up, Can you persuade him to forgive me ? " She asked.

' Is she being nice because she wants to use me ? '

Alyssa asked herself innery but decided to drive the thought away.

" It's okay. I will.." She said with a smile.

" Look at you, You are still in the patient's uniform. Go and change while I look after him. " Julian suggested with a beam.

" I am..okay..." Alyssa got up and left the room.

Juliana sighed and then put her gaze back on Calcel. She held his right hands in both her palms.

" Calcel, Are you still angry with me ? " She asked while her palm caressed his hands.

" When i heard that You were shot. I was shocked to death. How could you be so careless ? " She asked.

" I can't believe that you love that woman more than your own mother. I think you even hate me.." She said sadly.

" But she is pretty. I have liked her..."

Gladys had slept in Alyssa's bed after she had left in the middle of the night. When Alyssa came and seeing her mother made her smile. She sat on the bed besides her.

" Mom ? " She called tapping her and Gladys opened her eyes and sat on the bed.

" You are just back ? " She asked.

" Yes.."

" Can't believe that you left me here alone to see be with your boyfriend ..." Gladys said.

" Mom, He is not my boyfriend.." Alyssa said.

" What now ? You two love each other. "

" Mom, Can you believe that I never got a chance to call Calcel my boyfriend not until I got this face ? " She asked

" You were scared to love him by then because you were his step mother. But with that face, You were Marvis. Just an ordinary girl. " Gladys said.

" Mom, I feel ashamed that I used to call you Aunty . " She pouted her lips.

" Any title you give me will do. As long as you are my daughter. " Gladys said.

" By the way, Marvis' father is going to visit her grave today. How about we go together ? " Gladys asked.

" It's a good idea. We shall go. " She said.

" I will get your clothes ready . he will be here soon. "

Juliana was in the room until it was 10am when David entered with Jenny and Clere.

Juliana got up on seeing David.

" Is that big bro ? " Clere said when she saw Calcel.

" Yes. Go and see him. " David released Clare's hand and she went and sat on the spot Julian had been on.

" Welcome back Ms Juliana." Jenny said with a smile.

" Thank you Jenny.." Juliana replied back and her eyes met David's. He just sighed and went to sit on the arm chair.

" Dad, Will Calcel wake up ? " Clere asked.

" Of course he will. " David said.

" I prayed for him. I know God will surely heal him. "Clere said.

" Of course he will. " Juliana said holding er shoulders.

" Dad , Why haven't you welcomed Mom back home ? " Clere asked.

David smiled. " It's not like that Clere. Mom was very worried about Calcel so she came directly to the hospital. " David said.

" But whenever I come Mom does not come to the Mansion with us. Why ? " Clere asked.

" Clere, You know i prefer staying alone. But I always visit you. Don't I ? " Juliana asked.

" My friends at school told me that their Mom and Dad stay together when they are home. They even share the same bed room. But you two don't.." Clere argued.

Jenny saw where this was going and stepped forward.

" Clere, How about we go out and get some snacks for Calcel ? " She asked while David and Juliana looked at each other with daggers..

" Ms Jenny. I am not a child anymore. I am now 15. I can see that Mom and Dad hate each other. " Clere said and looked at both David and Juliana.

" Clere, I and Daddy don't stay together because we are divorced. Try to understand that.." Juliana said.

" Mom, I am tired of this. I want the four of us to stay and be happy together. Now look, Big bro is sick. Can't you two get back together and we take care of him ? " Clere asked.

David bent to her height and said.." Clere, Don't worry. Mom is coming home with us and ...we shall live together. " He said.

" Staying together is not all I want. I want you to forgive and love Mom again. " Clere cried.

David felt guilty when he saw her say the this. The truth he divorced Juliana just because he found out that Calcel was his elder brother's son and the fact that Juliana had slept with his own brother had annoyed him. But Clere was their daughter. She was his fresh and he loved her alot.

He heaved a deep sigh and said.." Okay..let me talk to Mom about it. " He said caressing her cheeks.
