Chapter 174: I want to see her.

" Life is short. Laugh sometimes. " She answered.

Camilla narrowed her eyes and gave Alyssa a serious look.

" Hmm, You can't lie to me. There must be a reason why you are in a good mood today. " She insisted.

" Now what ? Should be happy since I finally cleared my name today. I was pleased with the news." Alyssa got up to go for the next shoot .

Calcel arrived at the company and time and he was in the office when David came inside.

" Father ? " He called and got up from his office chair rmto go and sit with him in the porlor .

" I decided to pass by today. " David said as he sat on the coach.

" Thank you Father for not abandoning the company no matter how busy the states work keeps you busy as the Mayor. " Calcel said sitting opposite him.

" It's our company. I can never abandon it. " David said.

" That's why I learnt the hard work from you.." Calcel said and thwy both smiled.

" Well, You over work dear. I missed having breakfast with you today. Jenny told me that you had an important business partner to meet with. " David said.

" Huh...That's what I told her. " Calcel said with some doubt in his face.

" I wonder someone who asks to meet you that early morning. Or you are lying to me ? " David asked.

" Father , I promised never to lie to you. " Calcel became serious.

" Then tell me. What was that business you were talking about ? " David asked.

" Father, the truth is that I went to see a woman. " Calcel let the cat out of the bag.

" A woman ? " David was amused and he suddenly grinned.

" Wait, Are you seeing a woman ? Did you fall in lovw with someone ? " He asked but Calcel first kept silent.

" I told you never to hesitate once you love someone. I won't care what she looks like, Her background or even her job as long as you like her. I will accept her. " David said which made Calcel alto say.

" Yeah. I got someone.."

" Wow, When should I see her ? If you are comfortable . " Asked David.

" I will bring her home this Saturday. " Said Calcel.

" That is good. I will be so happy to meet her. I..." As David was still talking his phone rung and he got up.

After the call he came and said.

" The president wants to meet me. I will leave. " He said and left.

He was just gone wgen Ronnie came with newspapers.

" Sir, Look. This newspaper released the new ranking for the cosmetics companies and we had the first place. " He said happily.

Ronnie had opened that page for him already and when he read through he smiled.

" I am happy that we managed to maintain our place . " Said Calcel.

" Yes sir. But our cocoa project is not making enough sales because of Delish Cosmetics. I was thinking of us making another promotion. " Ronnie said.

" How far are their products moving ? " Calcel asked Ronnie with concern.

" They are increasing by 20%every after two weeks and yet we have been on only 12% for the past two months. " Ronnie said.

" Fine then. Organize for the promotion and tell me what you need. " Calcel spoke.

" I already have an idea sir. " Ronnie said.

Calcel gave him a thoughtful look and paid attention.

" Why don't we use Marvis Thompson ? " Ronnie surprised Calcel by mentioning this name.

He first chuckled and then asked why.

" She is the ambassador of Hopkinsville media and she has been making wonderful videos for adverts. Because of her talent, She is getting more and more followers everyday on her social media and now she already had 1million followers. Besides the following, She gets very many views. This would really boost our product if we used her. " Ronnie explained.

Calcel felt embarrassed that he didn't know all these about his girlfriend.

" Sir, What do you think ? " Ronnie asked when Calcel didn't say anything after his explanation.

" ...i...I think i will have to see her first. " Calcel said.

" She is even the headline on this newspaper. " Ronnie said and shifted to the first page where there was Marvis' photo.

Calcel was surprised to see the name Alyssa there and this made him to read further.

...After being accused of copying and using Alyssa's voice, Marvis Thompson managed to defend herself . It happened in the morning of the previous day when Marvis denied copying Alyssa's character and what surprised the people the most was that Marvis' voice is exactly as Alyssa's. Even though Marvis said that she is not related to Alyssa, We are going to look into it and findout why Marvis is like this....

After reading through this Calcel looked at Ronnie.

" Does she really sing like Alyssa ? " He asked.

" Yes..." Ronnie pulled pit his phone and showed Calcel the video.

Calcel got his too and searched out Alyssa's video which after he watched them both together. It was exactly the same voice.

He then scrolled down to their photos both Alyssa's and Marvis' and then watched them clearly. Indeed they looked exactly the same except the faces.

This made Calcel very curious.

" Sir, Are you fine ? " Ronnie asked.

Calcel got up and said.

" Excuse me, I have to meet someone right now. " He said and immediately got up to leave the Office.

Ronnie's eyes followed him in confusion.

Calcel got into his car and begun remembering something.

' I got an accident and lost my child. ' Yeah Marvis had told me this the first day they met.

And then....' I was with Alyssa the day she got an accident. We were both pregnant. And I lost my child and my memory. ' ...He remembered these words too while he drove.

At the orphanage, Gladys had also seen the same news which made her suspicious again . she had gone to meet Marvis at the company but failed to enter because she didn't have an appointment. But today she decided to go and try her chance again.

She got a car to go to the company.
