Chapter 135: Fate again.

Alyssa entered the Costmetics shop with the food box in her hands after she had been given directions.

" Hello there. " She said going directly to the counter where she found a lady.

" Hiii, Marvis it's you ? " The lady asked.

" Yes Ms Flora. Chris didn't work so I had to deliver this.

Alyssa spoke as she put the food on the counter. These people were already used to this current Marvis that had lost her memory so they used to tell her much about her past.

She turned to look at Flora. She was middle aged and a very fat woman.

" Ms Flora, What is that that has kept you busy ? " Alyssa asked on realising that Flora was reading through something.

" It's the Cosmetology High Magazine. They have prepared some makeup competiotions. " Flora said.

Alyssa didn't know why she got interest in this.

" Let me have a look ? " She asked getting the Magazine from Flora.

She read through until she saw a photo of a young very handsome man. She wore a navy blue suit in the photo and a sky blue shirt with his two first buttons open.She could see his physique and sense coldness from him. Alyssa frowned and gave Flora the magazine again.

" Who is that handsome man ? " She asked with a crooked smile.

" Oh my you don't him ? That is Calcel Wong. The CEO of Wong Costmetics. " Flora said.

" I don't know the company either. So..why is he in the magazine ? " Alyssa asked.

" Since he is the CEO of Wong Costmetics he has been put as one of the judges. And guess what, He is so good looking so this was put to make young girls get interest in the competition. " Flora replied.

" How can I get in ? " Alyssa suddenly asked surprising Flora

" Marvis...You want to join the competition ? " She asked.

" Mmm.." Alyssa nodded.

" Oh my God..if you are planning to also go because of Calcel you won't make it . He is married. " Flora said.

" Who cares ? I saw the prize. I need that money. " Alyssa said in exitement.

" No..no...Marvis. You can't go. You know nothing about makeup and Costmetics. " Flora argued.

" Who said I don't know ? " Alyssa questioned.

" Because even before you lost your memory, You knew nothing about makeup. All you wanted was being a lawyer but your father refused to take you for further studies because of that ...stepmother of yours. " Flora found herself spotting out.

..I...l...wanted to be a lawyer ? " This surprised Alyssa.

" Yes. How i wish you remember everything. "

Flora spoke when Alyssa dushed out of the shop. She rushed out amd walked directly back home.

When she reached home, Matt was there on snacks watching TV.

" What beings you at this time of the day ? " Matt asked looking at her with disgust.

" Why did you stop my father from sending me to school ? " Alyssa quarreled

" School? What are you talking about? "

" Matt, They told me everything. I wanted to be a lawyer, But you messed up everything. " She quarreled.

Matt now got up and faced her as a woman. " Marvis...I feel sorry for you. " She spoke with sarcasm.

Alyssa looked at her in anger.

" True...I didn't want you to go to school. But you are the one who ruined your life. " Matt said.

" What ? " Alyssa asked in disbelief.

" If you didn't get pregnant you would have gone to study ! " Matt said in a very loud tone.

Alyssa's eye released a tear on hearing this. She could not believe what Matt just said to her. And the way Matt lushed it out she wasn't lying about this.

Alyssa first swallowed hard as she he cleared her throat to say something.

" ..You mean...I was..pregnant ? " She asked in stutters.

Matt calmed down on seeing how hurt Alyssa Looked.

" Your father told me not to say anything. But you have forced to. " Matt said looking away from Alyssa.

" Then, What happened to my child and...who was the father ? "

" You refused to tell us because he asked you to abort. Then..." Matt was speaking the truth when she decided to add a lie. " You got the accident. And then...a miscarriage. " She completed.

She didn't confess that they chased her ( Marvis ) away from the house.

Alyssa sighed in her tears trying to hold them back.

" Stop crying, You caused this to yourself ! " Matt spoke in a sneer and walked away.

Alyssa sat on the sofa as she could nolonger stand feeling her knees weak.

'Marvis, Don't cry. That's all in the past now. You have thr present to live. Who ever that guy that made me pregnant is. I don't have to remember. Afterlol ge dumped me. Noe I need to build uo myself. '

She told herself innery thinking of the life she could have lived. Less did she know that her past was actually worse than this one she is thinking of. This was Marvis' not hers.

She dried her tears got up after sometime of crying.

The following day, Alyssa visited Flora again and requested for the magazine.

" Are you seriously going to join the competition ? " Flora asked.

" Why not ? " Alyssa asked busy reading through the magazine.

Flora put her elbow on the counter as she gazed at Alyssa.

" Flora , Trust me. I am going to do it. " She said and gave her back the Magazine.

She then went and looked at the products Flora had in her shop.

" I will need some makeup kit from you. " Alyssa said turning back to look at Flora.

Flora crossed her arms before her chest not believing this girl.

" You are not going to play with my business . " She spoke.

Alyssa walked closer to Flora and said.

" I may not know my past skills and wants but i can assure you. This is my thing ! " She said.

Since Alyssa had worked in Wong Costmetics for over six months she was at David's , She read enough enough books and got experience. Even though she had lost her memory , Deep inside she knew what she was doing right now.
