Chapter 112: Enough is Enough !

She shouted bringing the maids to their astonishment.

" Ma'am, Calm down.." Jenny tried to speak again.

" Shut up ! " May yelled and looked around at all of them.

" Everyone here fooled me. You thought I couldn't find out ? " She asked.

" Ma'am, We didn't know anything either . " One of the maids tried to defend the fellows but May rushed to her and gave her a hot slap.

All the rest became more surprised amd shut their mouth.

" You are fired ! " She declared to the girl sje had just slapped.

" May, You can't do that.." Jenny tried to talk to her once again.

" Jenny, Don't dare talk back at me. " May said in churlish .

" You are blaming everyone for nothing here. None of us knew that Alyssa is still around. " Jenny said.

" You may have not known but you knew something was going on between her and Calcel ! " May yelled.

" Fine, We knew and we are sorry for not telling you.." Jenny protested.

" Jenny, I hate being fooled. " Sjlhe said and turned to the other maid she had slapped.

" Didn't I say you were fired ? " She asked bitterly.

" Oh, Ma'am I will go and pack my things right now. " The young maid cried.

Jenny came in the way before her and said. " She can't go anywhere. I refuse that as the House Keeper. "

May chuckled not believing that. " You refuse that? Then you leave instead. " May declared.

" May , I can't leave this place. I have been here for twenty years as a house keeper ."

" And I am a wife in this house. " May stopped her Midway.

" Let me not find you here. " She declared and went upstairs to her room.

Jenny couldn't believe this at the moment. How could she leave after working here for twenty years ? May must be joking.

Being a peaceful person who wanted peace, Jenny decided to go and pack her stuff to leave. She got her suit and came along with it. Most of the other maids were now on tension.

When the young maid Dora saw Jenny she went to her.

" Madam Jenny. You should have left me to go. " She cried seeing the old woman holding a suitcase. It was indeed a shame.

" Don't worry about me Dora. Once Mr David comes back, I will automatically return. " Sje said.

" Are you sure ? " Dora asked in sobs.

" Of course. I can't just go like this. I've been here for twenty years. " Jenny said.

Dora hugged her and after bid her. Jenny left the Mansion like that.

Calcel came back in the evening amd he was surprised by Jenny's absence everywhere.

" Did Ms Jenny go anywhere? " he asked the maids he found preparing the dinner.

" Ms Jenny was fired by your wife. Aren't you aware about that? " The maid asked.

" What? " Calcel asked in a shock and rushed upstairs.

On reaching their room, He was welcomed by a broken photo frame of his and May's wedding.He picked it up and looked around the whole room that looked a mess. Most of the things had been pushed down and scattered in the whole room. May was there lying on the bed with her back facing him. Calcel couldn't believe what was happening.

" May.." He called her loud enough.

May on hearing his voice asked.." What is it ? " Still lying on the bed.

" Get up and explain what is happening? " He raised his voice.

May obeyed her husband and got off the bed standing on her two feet.

" Tell me. What the hell is wrong with you ? " He asked losing his patience.

" Nothing is wrong.." Sje replied.

" Then why is the room like this and why did you fire Jenny away ? " He asked trying to control the anger that was rising inside him.

" I did it because I wanted. " She answered amd wore her push ins to leave the room . " I will go get a maid to clean up the room. " She said but Calcel held her wrist and squeezed it that she almost groaned in pain.

" What is the meaning 0f all these? " He shouted. " Father has been away for only four days and you are already behaving like a crazy woman? " Calcel asked.

" Let go ! " May yelled back at him and removed her hand from his grip.

" This is all because of you.." Sje begun. " If you weren't cheating on me with your ex step mother, This wouldn't have happened.." She said.

" So...you found out ? " He asked calming down.

" You thought I wouldn't know that you go to see her every day? " May cried.

" So...even if I do so. How does it drag in firing Jenny and all these ? " Calcel asked raising his voice a little.

" Because I am angry with you ! " She barked.

" Even though. You shouldn't have chased Jenny away. She is like my mother.." Calcel quarreled.

" I see.." May chuckled. " You care about everyone else, except your wife.." She said in sobs.

" May don't blame me. It's all your fault..I wasn't ready for marriage and our wedding wasn't my idea.." Calcel reminded her.

" Then why didn't you refuse ? " She cried out.

" Because I wanted to please my father. " He said.

" This is all because of Alyssa, I will go tell the public everything.." She informed him.

" So what now? Do you think that telling the public will make me love you ? " Calcel asked her the most hurting question she didn't want to hear at the moment.

" It may not. But it will give me justice. It will be such a great shame to this family. " She said.

" Remember you are part of the family too.If anything happens, You will also suffer it.." He said.

" Are you threatening me now ? "

" No I am not. Do whatever you want. But be ready to divorce me ! " Calcel declared and left the room.

Now May felt like she had been filled with another big suck of anger.

It was already dawn and Alyssa was organizing her bed to sleep when she heard a knock. Thinking that it was her daily visitor Marvis, Alyssa went to open the door.
