As Shen Yue's words fell, the room sank into an awkward silence.

Li Yawei wore a worried expression, fearing her father might fly into a rage. She saw the faces of Lin Hongji and Zhen Yitong lighting up with schadenfreude.

There was a flicker in Giant Li's eyes as he stared at Shen Yue.

Unpresumably, Shen Yue was rather carefree and even asked, "Mr. Li, are you still unwilling to reveal the truth of that year?"

After a long pause, Giant Li finally said, "Very well."

Everyone was confused by Giant Li's words, even Shen Yue did not understand and asked back, "What does Mr. Li mean by that?"

"More than fifty years."

Giant Li murmured, "Over the past fifty years or more, although my business has prospered, my heart has been empty and lonely, even regretful, you could say."

Shen Yue, indifferent to Giant Li's emotional state, zeroed in on the crux of the matter, "What is it that Mr. Li regrets?"
