I had believed that those with special abilities were the strongest people I knew, but that is not the case.

It turns out that people are decided by the talents they have. Although there is a hierarchy in this world, it isn't always true. Instead, it all depends on how well you perform in the shadow games.

Yes, my family is poor as a result of their efforts. They didn't even get into the shadow games, which is a competition held in this city every 5 years. To participate, you must first join an academy, and the academy I was accepted into—well, not yet, but I did receive an invitation to—is among the top ones in this domain.

Each academy has 1 Million students. Before entering the shadow games you must join one of the academies to represent your domain.

I have a book that my grandfather left me when I was around 5 years old.

He died unfortunately, he died while in the shadow games.

The thing is any age can participate in shadow games. The only limit is you can be under 9 other than that anyone can participate.

However I don't know much about the exo games since I haven't read the big book my grandfather gave to me when he left and haven't seen him since.

In this world everyone has powers but the world is only decided through the exo games. Don't know much information yet since I haven't read the book much. The book I Keep talking about is my grandfather's book. He was an intelligent man that recorded every rule and every location of the academy's, domains and the shadow games.

you have been chosen to take an exam to enrol in Enzo Academy, your chances of passing the exam and enrolling in Enzo Academy depend on you. 3 million other people, including you, are taking the examinations; only the lucky 1 million will be chosen. At 10 am, the Enzo Academy's entrance exam begins.

I'm from the human domain so I'm human.

My family is poor and not very rich, that's why I need to participate in the shadow games so I can win for them.

In this world everyone has powers just like in the movies or books, however in this world it's not like that we use powers to kill people, to survive the Exo games. My Powers are unknown since i have never went to the advance academies

Since my family is poor they can't afford to send me to advanced schools. However, I'm in a poor school and the test I did was the highest in my school, so I got the letter to participate in one of the top academy exams.

"RICK!!!!!!!!"

The door to Rick's room opens as the one that opened the door is Rick's mother. She has black long hair with a great body and freckles around her face. She's a bit overweight due to stress and depression.

"Yes mother"

"Son dinners ready me and your father want to talk about you getting accepted to the top academy come downstairs when your ready"

"Okay mother i'll be down in 10 minutes"

I need to get ready for tomorrow

If I'm honest I'm not really excited

I just gotta do it for myself

I really don't care about my family. After I win I'll give them a bit of money but keep the rest for myself, well hopefully it's money. I still don't know the rewards you get if you win the exo games
