As she stood there under the shower, she felt a rush of different emotions.

She was happy. Happy that the engagement party slated for today had been postponed nd if she played her cards well, there might be no engagement at all.

She was also nervous as hell. She planned on meeting Victor today and asking him to back of from her and her family and probably tell him of what he found. She did not know how he would react.

She was tensed. Tensed because her father had asked her to attend a meeting with Theo on his behalf and after what happened last night, she did not know how to react to him.

Cheryl was woken up the next morning by the ringing of her phone.

She moaned as she reached for the phone, She yawned and reached out to pick the phone up from her nightstand.

"Hello dad?"

"OH honey! Sorry for waking you up."

"It's okay. Are you on your way back?"

"No honey, your mom and I will be staying for a few days more."
