"I've been having this nightmares" Kira told

"Tell me all about it" Seah421 told her, she was sipping coffee.

"I don't get it, it feels as if I've known him all along.

" And yet when i look at his face, his physical appearance, i damn don't...." she wandered off.

" you could really use a drink,I'm not getting any of what you're saying." she dropped her coffee on the table.

"I'll be back" she left.

" Here you go, a cool drink for a clear mind" ,she was back.

" why didn't Ilga133 come, why did you come"

seah421 asked or rather leah told seah421 to ask. seah421 sipped her coffee.

surrogates ate and rank and could sip hot coffee even though it could cause potential damages to their internal structures.

Kira always admires the surrogate, she thought the surrogate represented something much more than an impersonator to Leah, they had purchased their surrogates at the company together and selected their choices by themselves.

" You want to Ilga, I'll keep that in mind for next visit" Kira said, hurt literally written on her face.

" I didn't mean it that way, i know you want to talk to me" , the "me" meant to Leah.

"you're in pod" she said

" yes, but if you want to talk, I'm ready yo come out" .

" Kira, i don't know what to say,this is so complicated" ,it was Leah in person.

" Not even a hypothesis"

" No"

"No fucking little senseless wrap"

"You'll surely have something huh?"

" Nothing ?"

She couldn't take it ,there had to be some hypothesis; something ,anything, she wss going to freak out.

She could not take another of those horrible, gorrible nightmares, Leah had better say something.

" I might have something" It was leah, it was as if she had been listening to her thoughts.

"okay!" it was more a statement than a question. she didn't want to feel enthusiastic about the fact the fact that Leah seemed to have observed something. She didn't want it to be what she thought it was ,which was why she had come to Leah.

"Its actually an observation "

"I thought as much"

She continued " well I'm no scientist.... "

"You were once one " Kira told her sarcastically

She gave her a sarcastic look

" can we put the past behind and focus on now" she didn't want to remember.

" I thought whatever we were doing centered on the past"

" I mean we are looking at observations from the past, trials from the pas....." she was obviously getting on her nerves, she wanted her to realise and stop running away from tge past.

" do you want my help or not? " this did the trick, she not just wanted her help she needed it.

" I'm sorry" Kira apologized

" I could really use a drink"

" you don't want to get up?" it was kira, she knew her so well, it was like the old days before twenty years ago.

"call handy" she gave a knowing smile

" yeah right" she returned the smile

She tapped her arm and the invisible wristcom materialized, it was like a hologram of a watch.

" call handy" she told the watch.

" calling handy" the watch re-said.

A small robot zoomed in.

" At your service, Leah" it said so jovially

" Get me a fruit drink"

" okay" it said and a smiley face appeared.

" You still teach him" Kira asked her

" I made a hand book to do that, its just like an algorithm, it has random commands and flowcharts ,so i don't have much work load"

" workload ? what do you mean"

" I thought you just stayed in your pod all day"

"hummnn?" Leah was lost for words.

That seemed weird and off to Kira

She was hiding something.

" Here's your drink, Leah" it was booty

"Thank you" she took the drink from handy.

" Leah !" It was Kira, she wanted to know what was going on.

" yes" Leah was beginning to feel uncomfortable.

" I thought you stayed in your pod all day"

Leah spilled her drink

" sorry, jerky hands"

" call handy to clear this mess" it was Kira speaking to the watch.

Handy came in and shape shifted into a taller robot which dispersed a drainer, rag and disinfectant, drained, dried and disinfected the area , Leah and Kira kept watching.

As handy was disinfecting the surface, there was an elevating sound, It stopped at the apartment.

They both heard and electronic card click, they also heard "Access granted" , a retina had been scanned.

" Leah coner" An android ; a robot with human physical structures was in the living room

Nobody was suprised, handy immediately shape shifted into a musular robot, the android had walked through the door without opening it, it morphed into a gaseous form and combined into the molecule structure of the wall which did not have a strong bond. The android mershed through the weak and hollow part of the wall and was able to enter inside the room.

" Leah coner, i have been given permission to carry out a search" .

"what is he talking about" kira asked her.

She ignored the question.

" I at least demand a search warranty"

She was already on her feet.

"There will be no search warranty ,mrs corner or rather miss corner, you have been noted as a potential threat and i have been checked to understand what the fucking hell is going on"

Kira could have thought that it was a human speaking and she knew Leah was hurt when he addressed her as "Miss" .

" May i" ,the android asked

" Go ahead" Leah said

The android began assessing the house, Leah and kira and handy followed behind.

"hmmmnnn" " Not unusual" ,the android noted.

They had rounded the kitchen and were going to continue the routine until the android paused at a spot in a room that used to be Leah's husband's ,before everything went wrong.

" That seems unusual" ,the android noted.

" Activate infra - red sensors" the android spoke while holding up one finger on his temples.

Its eyes became red and everyone in the room knew what was going on.

Kira noticed that Leah was fidgeting.

The android scanned through the wall to see if there was something in the wall, the infra- red rays in- sensors was designed with the android, with all androids to see through walls and obstacles, the rays were so powerful that it could pass through the dense walls and see what was in it or over it.

After a tense moment of silence, the android said "coast clear" and lost its infra vision immediately.

The rest of the inspection was not disturbed.

"wow, miss coner ,i must say you have really suprised the system"

" Were you expecting to see something else"

" I am obliged to see what i what to"

" I see there was a party going on "

The android said with a gesture towards the table.

"Sorry for the interruption"

"Miss coner ,there will be a drone delivery this night for you"

" What's it about" it was Leah

" Really ,Leah you rush things a lot"

" When the delivery arrives, you'll know what it is about " it was about to leave but then it turned .

" You like parties don't you ?"

" I don't attend social gatherings" Leah said bluntly

" I have a lot of things to do"

Leah wasn't lying ,she hadn't gone out of her shell for ten long years, seah421 was there to represent her.

"Seah421 can come in place of her" it was Kira trying to help her friend.

" No, she is required in person"

He turned to look at her

" I don't have to tell you that you don't have an option"

" There'll be a flat trans waiting by 9.30 pm, tomorrow"

"Can i attend also? It was Kira ,she saw Leah with a side view, she gave her a "what are you doing" look.

"Please yourself

" I at least have to know more, this is impromptu...." Leah was going gagas (nuts).

" You know what you need to"

" You have to give me more info, you can't just call me to a place, who the hell do you think you are..." she was shouting at the android but he had left the room by passing through the wall the same way he had come.

" I am not going to come, i am not invited, yoi can't force to a gathering, fuck you, fuck the system ,sickles...." She broke down in tears .

Kira couldn't take it ,she understood the pain she was going through, she put a hand on her shoulder.

" Don't worry,its going to be okay "

"I'm going with you"

"Everything is gonna be just fine ..."

" ID PASS" ,The voice of an in-built AI robot told as Kira and Leah reached the end of the red carpet ,they had arrived the venue by the flat trans; a kind of vacuum teleportation system, where you entered into a portal -like vacuum and found yourself in the designated location. Flat trans isn't very fast, their journey lasted for about 5 minutes .

"412insidelag"

"Hold steady for retina scan"

Kira tilted her head a bit

The robot showed a red light and Kira knew the scan was over as soon as the light turned green.

" Scan complete"

" Access granted "

Kira moved out of the carpet so that Leah could get scanned too.

Soon after the scan was over, they both walked into the transporter which was like a small very fast convertible, it would take them to the hall.

" I can't believe I'm doing this"

" Jake would be proud of what you've done"

" Yeah tell me about it " Leah said sarcastically .

" destination reached" The transporter's info voice buzzed.

Kira and Leah alighted ,they looked around the hall ,it was magnificent.

Water curtains and In-room fountains were at centers and divisions.

Food drones zoomed around dropping food orders and services.

There were ground robots also delivering different courses.

There were android waiters and robots materializing and de-materializing .

They teleported at request, they liked formed in air-like matters and de-materialized to get waht was needed.

The whole setting was superb.

" This is the VVIP section" Leah was scared again.

" Relax" Kira told her.

As soon as, she said it she regretted.

Coming towards them was the overlord , the mutant alien who lead the marsians to invade, conquer and subdue earth. Zene.

Zene was a picture of a destructive entity, she could not address as a person or being.

Zene was a machine himself.

He was a computer.

He operated as one.

Zene was the only entity without pain receptors or sensory nerves.

His receptors had being mutated into a ordinary himan nerves which processed information at data at a much faster rate than normal Marsians and even Earthians.

Zen was not sastified, He had his brain mershed with the microchip that powered "Anna" ,She was Earth's most powerful AI resource at the time of the invasion.

After Zen's victory, He took the chip and merged it with his brain. "Anna" had all the a cess codes to all the softwares om Earth.

She also had all the database of the Earthians.

Zen was like a mini-god, He could access information from satellites in space, He had powers.

Yet, He wasn't sastified, He wanted total dominion over Earth because He loved Earth.

He would punish all the Earthians for enjoying such luxury while his nerves were being fried away on Mars. He merged his DNA with that of a starfish, He developed a diseased cells and multiple, abundant stem cells .

His cells were able to differentiate cells from the ceolomic body cavity travelling towards regenerative tips before re-differentiating into muscle component.

Zene still wasn't satisfied, He replaced his heart with an electronic heart, His heart pumped blood as usual, but his blood had metallic particles and ions and his robotic arm made him have the ability to concentrate the ions to his arms, where He could create and control magnetic fields, He also had the ability to allow electric currents and charges produced by his brain since it processed information at a more faster rate about half a nanosecond, almost half the speed of light.

Zen could therefore project electric charges as electricity, electric powers by creating and controlling electric and electromagnetic fields.

Zene was the definition what Leah would term as " An Oedipus merchandise out for blood".

" Wow! ,Miss Coner" He said as he came nearer.

" Miss Coner in person, not surrogate Seah421 or rather pearl522"

" I'm sorry, what do you mean?" Kira asked.

" Oh, Leah didn't tell you, I thought you were best friends"

" You were present during the search and you know that i never issue a search without the suspect being a very potential threat to my administration and ultimate rule."

Kira threw Leah a helpless look but Leah was looking down.

" Have a seat and I'll explain"

There was no seat as usual

" seat request." Kira liked this.

"Seat request being processed" ,the robot voice from nowhere responded.

" Seat type" The voice asked.

" Couch, sofa anything" Zene said casually and a smile followed.

In a few seconds, they felt an airy sound from below.

Kira was used to this not Leah.

As if on cue, they moved.

The glassy floor of the center parted at that point, bits entering into bits, water flowed in the space made by the parts and what seemed like the hologram of a long sofa came about from the water like it was pushed out, it formed a circular pattern.

The floor closed on, the circle formed by the hologramic couch fell apart and water emerged, though it seemed scary and perplexing, it was amazing watching everything.

At the center of the water-logged part, Glass floor boards began to come on at the center and it was as if a hologramic sofa like table emerged ,like popped up from the water.

The whole setting was complete.

Kira wondered how a random command could access and activate such hectic task to perfection.

Zene, as if on cue turned.

" Suprised ?" He asked as if spread his arms in a puzzled manner.

She nodded.

He laughed.

" The Earth, I mean your Earth is in my control"

They stared at him.

" Simply put, I am in control of Earth, his gesticulations were dramatic and He ended his statement with a note of finality.

There was so much emphasis on the " I" ,he gave an acknowledging look and Kira thought they ought to say something.

" uuhhnn" she murmured in agreement.

Kira was wondering and she knew Leah was thinking same.

" What in the world did being in contol of the earth have to do with a random command stimulator !!! ".

" I can use random voice stimulation to control any system i want because my voice was used to programme and is used to activate any operation being carried out by any Tech system"

" All the robots, drones, 'surrogates', aAI resources are under my desposition".

He threw a knowing look at Leah when he mentioned "surrogates".

He smiled truimphantly as made a gesture with his hands.

They didn't know what to do.

They didn't have a clue of what to say.

They stared, He stared back.

They blinked, He blinked too.

" Have a seat" He gestured .

This time some of his enthusiasm had left.

Kira felt as if they had treated him like a fool.

" Kira, Miss leah Coner had tryed to hack into our database"

Kira was quiet, she should have said something like " Why would she do that"

For some reasons, she kept quiet.

" Leah Coner tried to change Seah421 Identity"

" That didn't work".

" Leah Coner tried to swap Seah421 Identity with that of anoyher surrogate Brain214"

" That didn't work".

" Leah Coner remodelled Seah421 to the Identity of Brain214".

" That didn't work".

" She remodelled Handy, a little robot into a shape-shifting machine".

" That is Illegal".

" I would have jailed Leah Coner".

"But ?....." Kiar helped.

" But, i have personal issues to sort out".

" Besides, I'll never send you, Leah Coner to Jail" , It was obvious that JAIL meant much more than just prison , In this prison Jail was either in deep waters or on mars.

He turned to Leah .

" I'll never send you, Leah Coner to Jake Coner"

" Not even by mistake".

" I know you're trying all you can to piss me off so i can send you to Jail but No!, I won't".

There was so much emphasis on "Jail ".

"Matt and Leah Coner can never be"

He stood up.

" That is my promise".

That exploded Leah's thoughts.

She started raving and shouting.

She was going to hit him but Kira held her.

Kira knew that no one came back after going to Jail, she knew it was worse than apolycaplse.

She won't want the devil to be there, let alone her best friend.

" You're an asshole, You're sick" Leah was shouting.

" You're a demon, a bastard"

" I hate you, I fucking hate you".

" I swear i gonna kill you".

" I'll kill you, you son of a bitch....." she broke down.

She sat in the water round the couch.

Zen turned back.

" The part about being a demon and a bastard, I accept"

" The part about killing me, then i wish you goodluck".

He kept on going but then it was like as if He had remembered something, He turned.

" And just so you know, I found an earth-like planets millions of light years away and if you ever cause trouble"

" I'll set Jake Coner in a spaceship and send him on exile to that planet".

" Between the two of us, we both know that spaceship can never reach twin earth millions of light years away ".

He shrugged in his suit and it became a tuxedo, a flashy wine colored tuxedo.

He smirked in his glory, turned and Left.

Kira realized that moment that the couch they had been sitting on which was a hologram was like an air-tight mass held together by strong convalent bonds which made it densely packed and solid enough.

It was confined into a couch structure, so the particles were compressed into a shape and could not move about .

The couch was very comfortable, it was like sitting on solid air because you were actually sitting on solid air.

Kira jolted from her thoughts, she realized that she was thinking of the wrong thing.

Her best friend was going through an emotional crisis, she decided it was best to leave.

" Summon teleporter".

she spoke to her invisible wristwatch as it re-materialized .

" Summoning Teleporter pad".

A hologram of a pad came in the air.

" Take us home" she said and held Leah.

They went home.
