Mainframe side story: Emily's origins

A precursor to the Mainframe series that will soon follow. This is the story of how Emily comes to be recruited by Mainframe. Her story is completely different from Mainframe's and there's a lot less comedy in this one. Emily is a 15 year old girl who visits the local junkyard every day. With her father being a primitive soldier and her mother being in a profession that's best not mentioned she has a fairly eventful home life. This home life is even more eventful than that every time her and her father argue about the idea of morality. Emily herself certainly doesn't do things by half measures either as while she visits the local junkyard she runs into a similarly local gang who run the place and mess with them in a serious way on a regular basis. All of this trouble coming her way and her reason for attracting it? Because she wants to build a robot. Well she wants to do something with that robot to be specific. She wants to murder her parents. She wants them to repay her. With interest. This is my first attempt at writing a story so corrections and suggestions are always appreciated. I'm using this as practice for the series I'm going to write afterwards which is the Mainframe story I mentioned at the top of the description. Hence why the side story is coming out BEFORE the original series. If anyone reads this after reading the Mainframe series in the future then Hi! Quick note about story contents: I try to avoid profanities, gore and sex in my stories. That said this story is about a psychopath finding her true nature so it's fairly obvious that there's going to be murder, death, a bit of gore etc... etc... But I've kept it to the minimum that the story needs and contained in certain scenes. If you don't like it there'll be a warning of *_* next to the chapter name if it contains anything not fit for the eyes of children. Though if you're a minor and reading this story I seriously question how you're going to develop if you take any of my characters as role models. *o* Oh and art's mine kind of. Basically I have an AI do the drawing for me and I stick it together with image manipulation software. I used to do some people's youtube thumbnails for them so I like to think I'm ok at it but there are some glaringly obvious flaws in places cause I'm not used to mix and match. Fits the story though right? Having an AI do this sort of thing for me. Ok I know I'm a bit of a rambler so I'll stop here. If you've actually read all the way to the end of this I'm seriously impressed. You have my heartfelt gratitude and respect for dealing with my nonsense and unfortunately all I can give you is a smiley face. :) (I wanted to put a gold star here but realized I couldn't actually do that...) oof.
