"Madame, your skin is flawless."
"Really?"
"Yes, it's soft and radiant."
Embarrassed by the sound of the maids wiping her body, Seraphina glanced down. Her face flushed when she saw the marks on her chest. They were visible to anyone....but it was embarrassing to show the marks of your night with the Duke.
The traces from last night were evident. Imagining the maids seeing them made her feel even more self-conscious.
"Madame, are you feeling warm?"
Pillen's question broke through Seraphina's thoughts as she felt the heat from her face spreading.
She successfully hid the marks but...
Maids were experienced and knew what that was and how they came to be...
They slightly blushed, but it was just for a second they continued their work...
"I suppose I've been in the bath too long. It's a bit warm."
She fanned herself to deflect the attention.
