Information dump

This is not a chapter, this is an info dump. It is a recopilation of all the added info I have posted on other sites. Read it if you want to.

AN #1 / Powers #1:

So, I really didn't expect people to like this story. I was ready to be blasted to hell and back for grammar, formatting, or just terrible story telling.

So this is an unexpected, but welcomed surprise.

I admit this was just a plot bunny. This is all I've thought of for the story. I want to ask you readers how would you like the story to continue. I do not want this to become a quest, since I don't like them; I would like some help on deciding how I will develop the rest of the story.

My two ideas were to either continue in a linear way. Y'know, continuing to write how the mc will connect himself to the Foundation. Or, and hear me out, make what I've written the prologue to the story, and just kind of make a timeskip of sorts.

Also, many people are confused about what exactly does it mean to "own" the principles of domination. Imma try to explain what I was thinking.

It all started with me wondering how Ddraig's (this is from DxD btw) power would work. What I came up with was that his principle of domination made him grow stronger and stronger until he was just better than his enemies. That is why boost would work the way it did. In contrast, Divide would work in the idea of Albion just being "supreme". And, because he is the best, nobody else can be better than him, so any enemy he had, would just become weaker and weaker.

That is my theory of how and why they had a rivalry, Ddraig just naturally became stronger, and Albion wanted to be the strongest by default.

Now, some people were talking about domination of the self. I like this idea very much. I could use it as an excuse for him to be immune to many of the SCP bullshit. Like, for example: nothing can control his mind or take control of his body, because he dominates everything that belongs to or is him.

So, I also want to ask for some help with this. What other powers could I give to the mc, other than some boost expy and control of himself in a material and immaterial way? How would you all justify giving those powers to the mc? And how would they be tied to the concept of domination?

If any of you are still unaware of what SCP I talked about in the few chapters I've made, it is SCP-738.

Nickname "The Devil's Deal".

Now, since this really was just an overly annoying plot bunny, I need to read up on SCP stuff. I haven't really read a lot in a while, so it might take a while for me to write the next chapter and be happy with it.

Stages Types go through:

PHASE 1: Denial: Person refuses to acknowledge their ability to warp reality. They will attempt to rationalize away their abilities by various means. Sometimes to the degrees of warping away their own power lol.

PHASE 2: Experimentation: Reality warper acknowledges that they do indeed have powers and begins to test the limits of their powers. They do it slowly and methodically or just rush at it half-cocked like majority of Worm protagonists.

PHASE 3: Stability: Reality warper reaches the limit of their powers, and find the boundaries of their abilities. They basically find on/off switch of their abilities and use them as needed. Usually "here" they try to live normal life occasionally using their power. If not then look at phase below.

PHASE 4: The Child-God: Majority ends here. Reality bender becomes obsessed with power at cost of other people. Generally you get man-child with no empathy and delusion of grandeur. In short, typical Edgy OP Isekai protagonist with mind-control kink.

Diference between Gabe and Type Greens:

The thing about reality warpers is that they don't really understand what is going on. Most of the files in the forums that contain a type green usually depict them as some kind of schizophrenic or crazy people.

Many of the type green just affect reality in ways they do not understand because they don't have to; They affect it by accident most of the time. Ex: The lady that dreamt about her dead husband, and a projection of him started roaming her town at night.

That is the 'main' diference between Gabe and reality warpers (ignoring some exceptions), is that reality warpers just affect stuff when they think about it. That's why so many of them have a screw loose. They can't connect to reality because when they try they change it.

Ps. some are really limited to what kind of warping they do, not all of them have the capability of just erasing the earth by accident (from what I remember).

Gabe does not do this. Mainly because he is not a type green. Doctor Clef can't kill the MC by making him think he is dead, because even if he did that nothing would happen. Gabe's flavour of reality bending needs practice (at least for now) he need to know what he is affecting and how he will affect it and he needs to put effort into it.

That is the main reason why he stayed in his containment cell. He wanted to learn. At the moment he can't just try out something like creating fire, and make it happen with will alone. That is the reason I had him practice space control. He knows he had little time to learn how to defend himself, since the apocalypse could happen at any moment, and going for an avatar route would take too much time,. I made him choose something that most SCPs don't affect, and that lets him have a cool ass power.

I also made the choice of him not being able to 'Boost' so early in the story. Seriously that's too broken. Since he is not human, he does not have the limitation boosted gear users have, mainly their squishy body that can't handle the power.

If he was in some time of time chamber, sure, let him learn how to dominate every aspect of reality and make him God 2.0. But since he was just being pacient and getting his feet on the ground. He did the best he could with what he had.
