Chapter 2 ( March of Death )

Terror struck into the heart of Kahjalf. He wanted to flee from the area and regroup with other Demons. He struck his giant sword into the ground, instantly a large magical circle appeared dividing itself into smaller magic circles, rising above the ground and breaking into shreds. The Demon was dumbfounded. The spell he activated was a teleportation circle which should have taken him to his desired destination in an instant, was broken to shreds.

The demon now desperately screamed " what did you do witch?"

Responsing to Kahjalf, the Dark Lady explained " ohhooooho....well I just blocked the escape route. Did you not understand what I said.....you are going to die now."

Now out of desperation Kahjalf took the battle stance, his size grew drastically, two bat like wings sprouted from his back. Raising his sword which was now burning with blazing fire he leaped towards the Goddess.

The crow flew off from Asherena's hand and rose up to the sky. She blocked the incoming sword attack with her scythe. The impact broke the burning sword into pieces. Seeing this the demon flew high above to the sky and breathed hell fire. The surrounding, even the trees and land got scorched up. The fire burned furiously and then something unbelievable happened. The flames which was supposed to burn the woman to crisp turned black, got concentrated and gathered into a small orb. It now rested on between her fingers. She then shoot the orb towards Kahjalf with her fingers. With great impact the orb passed through the body of Demon, creating a hole in his chest. The orb shot did not stop there, it flew high above the sky and exploded. Kahjalf lifeless body fell near her feet. She then pressed her foot on the Kahjalf corpse. On contact the corpse burned in black fumes and vanished.

Near her feet also laid the body of Veronica Lunaglow... She was gravely wounded. Veronica was starting to recover from her wounds but she stopped the Goddess from healing her. She justified " I have lived my life.....my work here is done.....it is now time for me to move to the afterlife. Before I pass away I bind you to the mortal realm forever with my blood. May you reside here and protect it from diabolism. I bid you farewell mother, it was an honor to serve you."

Whispering this the priestess body got disintegrated as Asherena blessed her to rest in peace. She respected her and smiled, then she declared ". Your prayers have been heard we shall reside here and continue to protect it."

At the moment in the hall of gods, the eyes of the status glittered with brilliance light. The refugees present there prostrated before them, as four statues opened their eyes.

"The Gods have descended"

Asherena was starting at the distance sky where Demons were still rampaging. The demons burned everything and brought hell to this land. The stench and sight annoyed her to the very core. She moved her hand infront of her where the crow was sitting before. A skull without jaws appeared on her palm. Then she chanted

" Arise my champions who are in eternal slumber....rise and feed on these wreched creatures who have dared to provoke us. Shooooow them theirrrrr plaaaaace."

In response the skull's eyes burned vigorously, dark energy gathered around and millions of shadowy figure manifested.

Vampires lord, Banshees, Lich kings, Poltergeist, Ghosts, Wraith, Wight, Plague Beasts, Zombies, Dark knights, Dullahan, Spectres, Ghouls and many more bowed to the dark Goddess and marched towards the demon horde.

"Sister are we really going to stay here, making this land our new home."

A voice came from the back of Asherena. When she turned towards the voice, a woman came into sight. A woman in green elven gown. One can assume that the gown was made up of trees root and vegetation exposing her stomach area and bare feet. Her hair was brown and a crown with feathers exhibited her beauty like a dryad. On her hand rested a bow. She was the Goddess of Flora and Fauna, Giada, sister of Asherena.

Behind her were three more figures...they were the God of light, Uriyah, Goddess of water, Nira, and God of wind,Anore.

Uriyah was in golden shining armour revealing just his head portion having fair skin colour. His hair was white and long. Behind him floated a large halo carved with suns,moons and stars. On his hand was a Spear with pheonix carved into it. His mother was the dark lady, Asherena.

Nira was in dark blue and white long gown giving a resemblance of ocean waves. Her was long and black and a blue snowy diadem sat on her forehead. Behind her was a halo made up of water. Snow flakes, ice crystals levitated along with the halo. She was carrying a fan which resembled that of a fish fins. She was sister of Uriyah

Anore was dressed in long elegant grey robe, bird features covered his. Two dragon head covered each of his shoulder. And a helmet made up of bird head followed by birds feather covered his hair giving him a appearance of Aztec God. A halo of clouds gathered behind him. He was son of Giada.

" It seems we have to" explaining this Asherena marched towards the demonic army with her Undead soldiers.

"Then so be it " acknowledging her sister's dicission Giada went along with Asherena, followed by Nira, Uriyah and Anore.
