Chapter 12 Oliver And The Black Havoc Wolf 1

When Oliver stood up his back to face the spirit beast he knew he won't be able to escape with something major happening, he turned to get a view of what was chasing them. When Oliver turned to see the spirit beast he was shocked to his core.

"Black havoc wolf, what is a black havoc wolf doing here? Chasing this little cat".

"How come this little fellow was able to survive the pursuit of the black havoc wolf?

The havoc wolves were spirit beasts that live in the middle region of the ninth forest and they were known for their ferociousness.

The havoc wolves are classified into two groups the black and red havoc wolves the red was more ruthless and stronger than the black havoc wolves and whenever they showed up a lot of blood will be shared the majority of the red havoc wolves have the strength to venture into the inner region of the ninth forest.

The havoc wolves were known for their ability to blend with the environment and they could track their target for days until the target is about fifty kilometers away from them. They also can mark their target and will be able to notice their target whenever they are a hundred meters away from them.

The black havoc wolf that was before Oliver was the size of a mature wolf, with terrifying red eyes and it also had horns on its head like that of a ram. It stood there like a mountain with saliva dripping from its mouth.

"Now I know the reason why the little cat was unable to escape from its enemy is that it is the black havoc wolf that is good at tracking their prey".

"The reason I was only able to see its eyes back then, was because it was what it decided to show its target". Oliver thought to himself and was also thinking of how he will be able to survive this he knew it would be hard but he was praying to come out even if he end up being severely injured and keep his life he would be happy.

Oliver felt cold sweat all over his body he knew how bloodthirsty the havoc wolves were and he knew that since he had taken the same path the black havoc wolf, will want to kill him even if he had not met the little cat, the black havoc wolf would still attack it was its nature to be ruthless.

"Hey, big fellow what do you want? Oliver did his best to over his fear and face the black havoc wolf that was staring at him like he was a dead man. Oliver knew that the black havoc wolf that was before already had intelligence and could understand human language with the information he got when he entered the first hell ninth city.

The Black Havoc wolf looked at Oliver and directed its eyes toward the little cat that was in Oliver's embrace. Immediately Oliver understood what the black havoc wolf was saying.

"You want me to handle over this little cat to you". Oliver asked pointing at the little cat

The black havoc wolf nods its head in response to Oliver's questions.

"If I do as you want will you let me go untouched". Oliver with a serious expression, like he was about to buy his life by trading the little cat with the black havoc wolf.

The little cat looked at Oliver like the real monster when it heard Oliver negotiating with the black havoc wolf and with its life as the price to pay. The little cat felt like it was dreaming not quite long he felt someone was willing to protect it and not long that the same person was about to sell it to buy his life. The little cat wondered if it was how all humans behave when they are caught up in a desperate situation or is it that it ran through Oliver's path and led him into danger by directing the black havoc wolf in his direction. So he was trying to get revenge by handing him to the black havoc wolf.

"Big fellow isn't it out of place to kill such an adorable little cat ".

"Why don't you just allow me to take care of this little cat for you and pretend nothing happen?" Oliver said with all boldness like he would not back down.

When the little cat heard the statement it was confused and could not understand what was happening at the moment, how was someone that wanted to trade it for his life just some moment ago, was now looking at the danger that was caused by it on his face to forget what is happening.

The little cat was wondering if it is how a human's character changes quickly one moment to want to kill you the other minutes they want to protect you.

"Hey, you little fellow you thought I was going to trade you for my life". Oliver said to the little cat rubbing its head.

"Don't worry I don't like throwing away cute things easily" Olivier said to the little cat.

"Ain't you cute, don't worry I got your back" Oliver's hand was still on the head of the cat. The little cat was just lying on his hand feeling comfortable.

The black havoc wolf could not believe what was happening that a little human was ignoring it completely like it was not there and was not even afraid of what it could do to the weak human, even the little cat was dumbfounded it wonder where Oliver's confidence was is coming from or was things coming from his mouth wrongly.

The black havoc wolf immediately jumped at Oliver at full speed with its mouth wide open before it could get close to Oliver, he shifted to the side the bite that was supposed to be aimed at Oliver missed but before Oliver shift further he felt claws ripping his cloth off his left shoulder.

Oliver stumbles backward with the little cat in his embrace

"Let's get serious, all living dies only once, what is there to be afraid of" Oliver dropped the little cat on the little hill that was made of stone.
