Divine Emperor of Evil Dao

Eastern land, Crimson Sun kingdom:

A frightening battle was going on currently. Battle roars covered the sky and armoured warriors were charging at each other without a single iota of thought about their lives.

At the center of the battlefield, two powerful warriors were clashing with each other. A gigantic halberd flashed and a head flew to mid air accompanied by a shower of blood.

War gradually stopped and the soldiers scattered. The man who was wielding the halberd looked at the sky. There was a frown on his heroic face. "Old Crane, let's go home. I am feeling a little bit uneasy. Let's hurry", he looked at the warrior standing by his side.

A foul stench entered his nose and Richard opened his eyes. He couldn't help but curse loudly when the rotten air entered his nose. "what the hell? It smells like the fart of old granny Layla!"

"Where the hell am I now?", Richard exclaimed after he woke up. He looked around his surrounding and a shiver ran down in his spine.

Decomposed bodies were scattered everywhere in this place. Some bodies were pestered by hideous looking bugs and worms.

Some whitish and yellow worms were squirming on some half decomposed bodies.

There were countless skeletons and skulls on the floor.

"Is this hell?", Richard wondered. Then he moved his hand towards his neck to check on his pendant. This was the only thing he had inherited from his unknown parents and it remained with him throughout his life.

"Wait, where is my pendant now?", Richard checked around his neck region but couldn't find anything.

After sometime, he calmed down. He looked around again and his stomach churned after looking at his surrounding. He controlled his urge to throwing up with great difficulty.

Although he had never been to any place similar to this place, he had experiences of countless gory incidents as a Mafia boss.

"I was dying by the ambush of those bastards. After all who could have imagined that those bastards are co-operating with Interpol rats. Now how come I am in such a weird place?" Richard felt confused.

Richard was the famous leader of a world renowned Mafia gang. His age was only at twenty. But despite his tender age, Richard managed to control half of the western continent. When he was at his epitome of success, his location was exposed and he was surrounded by the world renowned special forces.

"Now the main question is where am I?", Richard thought to himself.

"Wait a minute, I was shot multiple times on my body and there was no doctor could have saved me from that condition. So, let's check my body condition first."

Richard's jaw dropped after checking his body. His body was covered with numerous scars and bruises. Most importantly, his body was so slim that even a slight wind could push him far.

"What the fucking hell! What happened to my body. How my body has got slimmed so much. Now I am looking like a malnourished person", Evan let out two or three vulgar words in surprise.

Richard thought he was going to turn mad today. There were so many questions but situation was getting weirder without any answer. He found another body when he checked his own body.

He calmed down himself and carefully observed the surrounding. Till now, he had not completely seen his surrounding. It was a large prison cell with no other person around. His legs were tied with huge shackles.

He cursed, "What a fucking luck I have! I escaped death but ended up in a prison with ghosts and skeletons accompanying me."

He grew silent as time passed slowly. After sometime he heard heavy footsteps coming from above. Those footsteps grew heavier as it became closer. Richard waited patiently.

But when he saw the look of the creature that just came, he became stupefied. Now his astonishment could not be expressed by words. It was beyond imagination.

It was a creature with human like built. But its enormous nine foot body was defying all the concepts of human in his mind. It looked at him mockingly.

It was carrying a huge battle-axe, which could even chop thick iron doors of strong rooms like dry woods. Evan looked at it with disbelief. It had one huge horn which was protruding from his head.

He pinched himself to check if everything was real and sighed in relief after pinching himself. Then he carefully observed the creature Infront of him.

The creature who was looking mockingly at him before,now looked at him with interest. He asked, "Brat,what are you checking?"

Richard's scalps turned numb after listening to the question. He was a Mafia boss and he won't be flustered like this even if someone feed him to a crocodile. But he was now facing a monster.

Richard stormed his mind to give a good reply. A idea lit up in his mind immediately.He replied," I am just wondering how I can grow such beautiful horns?" Richard felt stupid by the reply he had just given but the result was something more than he expected. By now he had already guessed the identity of the creature infront of him by looking at the key set hung in its nake.

That creature grinned after listening to him and said, "Brat, I never knew you are such a interesting boy. You want to know about my horns. I will tell you everything about it. How about I come over there."

Richard quickly cursed himself for giving himself more trouble but nodded at the creature with a earnest expression.

The creature quickly unlocked the cell and came nearby Richard and sit down. Breaking sound came from the dry bones by the weight of it's body.

Richard grew more cautious after this. But soon he relaxed, he knew he could not do anything in this situation. Moreover he had already deduced the identity of strange creature as the guard of the prison.

"Better to get a idea of this place from the guard, I need to confirm in which level of inferno I am residing", he thought inside his mind.

He was almost certain that he was sent to hell by gods. Afterall, he could not recall doing any decent work in his entire life.

Soon,the guard started his story. And Richard swear he had never been through such tormenting experience in his entire life. Such unpleasant voice, Richard almost fainted by the loud and uncomfortable impact. But what astonished him more was the fact that he could understand it's language. It was a foreign language but strangely he could understand it.

The story of guard started with,

"Horns are the art work of almighty. All devil should thank him for his benevolence. Our ancestor had two shining horns. It was shining like gems... .....".

Stories came and went but Richard only remembered one thing that ancestors had two shining horns. He thought it would be enough to answer the guard.

At first Richard was on guard against the guard. But now, he was completely relaxed and he already had a rough idea about this place.

Now he only needed to confirm his guesses and try to get as much answers as possible. After almost two ages of time, the guard ended his story.

He looked at Richard who maintained his earnest expression throughout this ordeal and said, "Lawrence, brat you are a good child. You shouldn't have caused any trouble while your grandfather is away from town. And even if you caused trouble, you shouldn't believe that girl who still used to pee in her pants. "

After answering many questions of Richard, the guard left with a expression of satisfaction. He did not know that, Richard fooled him successfully to get many informations!
