An emotional support cyborg

When I see the woman hanging herself I quickly draw my sword and slice the rope while casting shadow room and catching her. She then opens her eyes and I can get a better look at her scars.

I look closely to see her body covered in a multitude of slash and burn marks that don't reach her face, though the rest of her body wasn't spared. I could genuinely understand why she would try to kill herself to escape whoever caused these.

She then looks at me for a few seconds before talking.

"Why aren't you disgusted?" I'm kind of confused but I decide against any course of action other than comforting her.

"Why should I be? Your beautiful quite honestly." She just looks at me for another few seconds.

"But the sca-"

"Scars are something to be proud of, showing what you've gone through to get here and your strength to keep going. The fact you kept going until this point is admirable." She then starts to tear up.

"You really think I'm better than the other women? You really think I'm something special?" She seems desperate at this point, seems her life is worse than what the scars are showing.

"Obviously, your better than those that hide behind their words and parents while thinking themselves better and more talented then they could ever imagine."

She then starts sobbing for a good few minutes before she finally looks back at me. Her look at me seems to have changed form before, but I can't really tell how. I'm sure it's fine though.

"How am I more talented?" She seems to be regaining her sense more and looks at me more cautiously. Judging from the rejection letter to an academy with a magic circle on it, it's safe to assume that this world is one of magic.

"Magic. Think just anyone could summon me?"

"But the ceremony said I have no aptitude."

"Because they can't measure an SSS class darkness talent and would probably have killed you if they figured out. Here, try casting this spell as proof." She then starts to draw the basic darkness tendril spell. Her eyes widen when she sees that she had succeed on the first try.

"Am I dreaming?"

"Nope, but now it's the turning point in your rotten life. You have two choices, one is to stay here and pretend today never happened. The other is to go with me and get stronger on this planet before we go back to mine."

"Take me with you." She didn't even hesitate, though I can't blame her.

"Alright then, what's your name?"

"Carla S-"

"No, that's not it. Why keep something they gave you?" Her eyes then widen slightly before brightening.

"Angelica, I'm Angelica nice to meet you." I then put my hand out for her and she shakes it. I then take the last scar healing pill and mask from my storage ring.

When I toss the pill over to her she instantly swallow it while she just catches the mask and looks at me in confusion.

"Just imagine the face of someone and your face will morph into it. No reason to make it loud." She just puts the mask on and her face changes to a plain middle aged woman before she turns back to me and nods.

I cancel the spell and the room and it's furniture appears once again. Angelica walks back to a closet before grabbing a few clothes and a bag that I'm assuming is full of money before walking over to the door with me and opening it.

When we walk out of the room I cast a fire spell inside the room while closing the door, making sure to cast some wind spells to fuel the fire.

As we walk down the hallway I can see Angelica messing around with the magic circle I gave her. After around 10 minutes of walking I can see she had totally modified the small tendril into a fist with a bit or arm, though she couldn't do much else and started sweating.

She doesn't stop however, and manifests up to the elbow before stumbling. I catch her before she trips and she straightens herself before walking along while making sure to not to trip this time.

While she was busy recovering for her exhaustion, I was busy trying to use the hands to cast the threads. The main problem the move had was it needed me to come from shadows, so I had to use my shadow while dashing around to make the threads.

After a few minutes I had gotten a massive shadow hand above my head to shoot and control the threads while I try casting the arms outside and find that they can stay and can appear from nothing.

After walking around an experimenting with my spells on the wall we finally arrive at a massive door in a lobby area, I promptly take the string spell while using a shadow hand to control the strings and cut the door open.

When I walk outside I see a town down a hill and what seems like a carriage headed up the hill surrounded by people wearing armor and I can feel a good bit of bloodlust from the carriage.

"Angelica, were going by air get closer." She then gets to my left and I summon a massive gust of wind to catapult us over the heads of the carriage and we fly over to the village, landing on the road leaving the town.

I use some wind magic and shadow hands to slow are fall making us land silently and unharmed. I look over the town and what they wear using images I got while flying over it, changing my clothes using nanomachines to match it while making it comfortable.

I take my grimoire and start drawing the magic circle Angelica drew near the middle of my grimoire before taking the rest of my nanomachines and making my katana look like an ordinary one while walking next to Angelica.
