It's Not Cheating

"Marry me."

When the sentence appeared on her screen, she froze.

A couple of seconds later, Yingyue suddenly blurted out the words while typing it in panic.

"Great Master, did you hit your head or something?"

"Or are you messing with me?"

"If you are, then you're really great at creating jokes!"

"And also, I have a boyfriend already! I'd feel like cheating if I marry someone inside the game."

She then sighed after saying what she wanted to say.

A smile appeared on Liang Feng's face as he proceeded to type his response.

"I'm serious. I was thinking of using you to ward off other female players who are constantly sending me friend requests. Moreover, you saved me, which means I have an alibi that will explain to people why I took the chance of marrying you. Furthermore, I wish to complete the Lovers Quests that gives extravagant rewards. You don't have to worry about your relationship as our marriage will only be inside the game and will not interfere with our lives."

Yueying touched her lips while thinking to herself.

'His intentions are reasonable. Plus, I can also receive the rewards for completing some Lovers Quests. I need to get items for the upcoming battle to make my character stronger as I'm not sure whether Liang Feng is skilled or not. It's a win-win scenario!'

She quickly put her fingers and started typing.

"Alright, Great Master, I'll marry you!"

"I'll see you in two days' time at 8 PM in the Marriage Hall."

Moonlight logged out after responding.

Yueying laid back on her chair with her eyes staring at the ceiling as if she was deeply thinking of something.

'This isn't considered cheating, right? It's business, business! I'm sure Liang Feng wouldn't mind.'

"So, last night, I saw Master Moonlight being bullied by..." Yueying shared her experience last night to Huiyin while they were eating.

After hearing the full story, Huiyin bursted out in laughter.

"HA HA HA HA HA HA who'd believe that story? Even [1]Hazy River was rejected by the master himself! Now you're here saying he's marrying you? Puh-lease! Plus, who'd dare bully Master Moonlight?"

"If you don't believe me then log in with me tomorrow and you'll see for yourself!"

Yueying pouted as she takes one spoonful of food into her mouth.

A man suddenly came out of nowhere and sat beside Yingyue while putting his tray on the table.

"What's so interesting? I heard your friend laugh just now."

As soon as Yingyue noticed and heard him, she immediately choked and coughed. She reached for a bottled water and sighed in relief afterwards.

"Aiyo, your new girlfriend says Moonlight wants to marry her. Isn't she being hysterical?"

Huiyin responded as she pointed at Yueying.

As soon as she heard this, Yueying shifted her gaze to Liang Feng and gave an awkward and guilty smile, just like a cheating wife getting caught by her husband.

"Oh? You're cheating already on our first day? How brave, my dear."

Liang Feng smirked, responding with a sarcastic smile.

"It's not like that. I'm just helping him by reducing incoming friend requests and he's helping me with Couple Quests."

Yueying raised both her hands and waved it, denying claims.

She cleared her throat and worked hard to change the subject.

"I haven't introduced you yet. Liang Feng this is my best friend, Lin Huiyin. And Huiyin, this is Liang Feng, my... uhh..." she scratched her head.

"Boyfriend. Nice to meet you." Liang Feng completed her sentence and offered Huiyin a handshake.

Huiyin accepted it and responded

"Nice to meet you too, handsome! Treat her well or I'll kill you with my own hands!"

"What treat her well are you talking about?"

Yueying took a sip from the water bottle as her body heated up. Her heart skipped a beat when she heard the word "boyfriend". She used her left hand like a fan and looked around.

'Wooo, the day is getting hotter.' she thought to herself.
