"What was his relationship with my dad?"

"With your mom, not dad. Danielle the day you were all rushed to the hospital bayo was also there. he called for help and said you were all his family. I don't remember much but you can go to the storage room to find the file!" She suggests and I nod.

"Let's go dami!"

"Danielle?" The old woman calls out

"Yes Ma'am?" I respond

"you are going there to look for a file not make babies!" she says implying that a boy is following me in there.

how could I forget this is Nigeria? Immediately two people of opposite genders are alone, their minds go to sex.

We finally reach the storage room and it's surprisingly neat but big

"This is gonna take a while, Ellie!" Damien says and I nod in agreement

"Yes, it is."

A FEW HOURS LATER

"Why couldn't they arrange this thing in dates!" Damien cries out in frustration.

"Exactly, awon odes!" I reply.

"This Nigeria ehn! they have problem!" Dami replies and I start laughing.

"What's funny?" he asks with a pouty face.

"The fact that this is making you angry!" I reply

"Koshi!" he responds and I hug him

"Pele" I appease to him

"Ellie?" he says

"Yes?"

"Will you be my girlfriend?" he asks and I nod.

"Yes!" I reply

"yayyy!" he shrieks and I can't stop laughing.

"Let's get back to work!" I say to him!

"I found it!" Dami says and I smile

"What's wrong Ellie?" he asks

"what if I find something i don't like?" I ask him.

"Ellie we have been here for hours, better now than later, " he replies and I open it and search for the day of the accident.

"What does it say?" Dami asks as I am frozen in shock.

"He signed as my dads husband."
