A Weird Spiritual Space

In a remote place far away from Orario.

In The Green Woods, the atmosphere was peaceful as the cloud were almost nonexistent, giving a rare opportunity for any travelers to enjoy the sight of the beautiful blue sky, and the rustling leaves could calm the mind of the distressed.

A white-haired boy was staggering. His ragged clothes were tainted with blood. But if one were to look through the holes in his clothes, he would see a well-built body, one that was trained for war.

Despite his situation, the boy's eyes were completely devoid of fear. It was as if such a situation was a daily life occurrence for him.

After assassinating the crown prince at the order of his sect master, he was not only chased by the royal guards but also by the same person who gave him his mission also betrayed him.

However, as a genius 15-year-old Peak Bone Forging cultivator, he managed to escape, although barely by jumping into a spiritual land portal.

To encounter a spiritual space portal, one would need great luck. Such a place would have huge amounts of spiritual energy which was an extremely good cultivation environment for any cultivator.

It was a pity that after someone entered the spiritual space, the portal would close, meaning that only one person would be able to enjoy the benefit.

However, in his case, something like this was the best thing that could happen to him.

During his small trip,  a giant monster with eight legs that many feared stood in his way. Its black body contrasted with the green forest.

Unfearful of the thing in front of him, Xiao watched it with great interest. "Is it the Black Venin Spider? No... this one doesn't have horns on its head..."

As if vexed that its prey didn't look scared of its prideful appearance, the spider bounced at him. Its speed was so fast that normal humans wouldn't have realized what happened before it was already too late.

But to him, even though his strength was halved, his reaction speed was still top-notch.

To overwhelm a genius like Xiao in terms of reaction speed, one would need to step into the Golden Core realm. Otherwise, he could forget about it.

In the end, although it was powerful against normal people and even to some level 2 adventurers,  the spider was unlucky enough to encounter a  cultivator.

After a few minutes under careful observation, his body started trembling when the realization hit him.

He could feel that the crystal stone contained a tiny trace of pure energy. It was similar to spirit stones that contain pure spiritual energy, the only difference was that this one seemed to contain a thousandth of what a spirit stone would have, but this might be linked to the strength of the monster, hence the small quantity.

In his world, spirit stones were worth fortunes.

The reason behind the price was simple. If a cultivator were to absorb the spiritual energy inside of it, his cultivation would receive a massive boost.

For example, if a Peak Bone-Forging cultivator like him were to use a spirit stone, he would become a Peak Golden Core in a day!

Those things were so precious they could cause a full-scale war between empires.

Doubts filled his mind.

Was this place a spiritual space?

After all, since his arrival, he has encountered two unknown things in just a day.

But in the end, whether it was a spiritual space or not, he had a clear objective in mind.

He would get as many treasures as possible until he was rejected by this place force.

And then the sect master will suffer his wrath for not keeping his promise after the crown prince's assassination.
