The Archmage of Epoch
The Age of War ravaged the continent. Fire, destruction and death were heralded with the arrival of unknown invaders, seemingly impervious to all attacks. They scurried across the lands, molesting every crook and cranny with their claws. Hope seemed all but lost. Life would go extinct. Families, ruined. Society, destroyed. Kingdoms and Empires, no more.
Even so, people didn't give up. Their persistence was duly awarded, and like the discovery of an oasis in the middle of a desert, 'she' appeared. A mage of unfathomable strength, hiding secrets known only to gods and demons. Touted as a hero, she was aptly named the 'Archmage of Epoch', the woman whose appearance signified a monumental shift in history itself.
Centuries past, her accolades and achievements are all but whispers of ancients. Her tales no longer leave the mouths of mothers at bedtime, nor are they etched on the pages of books and tomes. Only the most dedicated can even catch a whiff of proof that once upon a time, the Archmage of Epoch existed.
The Age of Peace now ruled the continent. Mountains, lakes and cities, previously scarred by the horrors of war, were slowly repairing. Humans were forgetful creatures, and they inevitably forgot about the taste of blood in their mouths. It was a happy yet sad thing.
But times were changing. The cogs in the machine were beginning to turn, and shifts were beginning to occur. The Age of Peace was coming to an end. And nobody, not even the fabled Archmage of Epoch, would be able to stop it.

As of writing this, The Archmage of Epoch will have little to no romantic elements, though the younger characters definitely will. Whether or not the MC will have romance is questionable, so take the 'Fantasy Romance' genre with a grain of salt.
