He cleared his throat, breaking the spell.
"So," he began, his voice slightly rough, "what do you say? Explore the pool, or head back before it gets too dark?"
She glanced at the entrance, a sliver of sunlight barely visible anymore. The cave held a strange allure, a promise of secrets waiting to be discovered.
"Maybe we should come back another day," she suggested tentatively, "prepared with flashlights and maybe some climbing gear. This place deserves a proper exploration, don't you think?"
He seemed to ponder this for a moment.
