The following day, Katherine woke up as early as she could, she prepared readily before bading the others a farewell. Steve and Evelyn volunteered to walk her out till they flagged down a moving carriage. Steve and Evelyn wished her luck before she went away.

when she reached Groovington to the address written at another paper in the envelope. she waited at the inn until a carriage drove to her side. she entered into the carriage before it ride away.

Katherine stepped out if the carriage, she looked at the big mansion in front of her which looked familiar but she hoped it was not it. Dragging her bag along with her, she walked in by the help of the family butler. He led her to the servant quarters to wait till Mrs. Aubrey Donovan wakes up and calls for her.

Katherine didn't sleep for the nervousness of her worst nightmare coming to pass. when the sun finally rise, she was called by Mrs. Donovan.

" you passed your test " she said casually with a glass of bloodwine on her hand. and Katherine looked at the woman confused. " I was checking on your agility, you didn't slept away even though you had the opportunity " she said and Katherine gazed back wondering if the servant she was giving room with told her that.

" Madam, does that mean I have accepted for this work " Katherine asked in confirmation.

" yes you have, from now on you have to stick everywhere I go-but first, you have to wash up really well, I have a great sense of smelling and as a vampire, don't want to smell any foul smell from you, take the maids dress and put it on, what is your name? the woman said lifting the glass to sip from it. she found the girl to look familiar but couldn't remember quiet well where she had seen her.

" my name is Katherine, sorry to say madam but I don't have a single foul smell so you don't have to worry about that " Katherine said as gently as she could, bowing her head she took the dress on the floor, walking out.

Katherine bathed the second time in the morning before going to put on the maids attire. She tied her hair in a high bun, so it wouldn't distract her from working. She went to tie the rope on the dress to her back. The dress was above her knee, which made her very uncomfortable as she has never worn a short dress before. The dress what white and black, which was made flare starting from the waist. she put on her black long socks reaching her knee. Then took the white and black fabric hair band tying it on her hair, before going to put on a pair of black sandals.

Katherine breathed air looking at her reflection in the long mirror of the servant bathroom. she quietly stepped in out, searching for the where about of her new mistress.
