2.5 Who?

Widening his eyes at the girl, he gulped. His gaze then averted at the boy, the eyes of the boy were closed. He then coughed. His breathing was slowly running out. It was not any force that made her halt her leg. It was the lack of air around him, causing him shortness of breath. His chest began to pounder heavily.

Looking back at the girl, Zorion asked. "Who are you?" His voice barely came out of his throat. His lips began to turn cold, were shivering as he spoke.

The smile of the girl then turned into a chuckle. Folding her hands back of her hands, she bends to the side to look at the boy who was at either side of Zorion.

"Brother, Zorion is weak." She said with a grin on his face.

"Mother said he's not. We can't underestimate him." The boy said with his closed eyes.

"Very well." The girl replied to the boy. "Should I kill him?" She then asked, looking Zorion into his eyes.

The moment she said those words, Zorion disappeared within a blink. The expression on the face of the girl turned pale, her eyes widened into the shape of a ball. The boy slowly opened his eyes. He then turned his head around and looked at nowhere. Staring at the emptiness.

"He escaped." The boy said.

"How?" The girl asked, walking closer to the boy. "I decreased the air around him, he shouldn't have the strength to use his power." She then added.

"Didn't I told you?" The boy said.

The girl wandered her eyes around. Asking the boy to stay where he was, she walked around to search for Zorion.

"Get back." The boy said. "He is not our target." He then added.

"He will be a thread." The girl said.

"We don't have time to search him." The boy informed.

Letting go of her search, the girl came to the boy. "Where is the battlefield?" She asked.

"I can see it." The boy said and turned to his right. Following her action. The girl also turned in that direction. They then held hands and began to walk.

~~~~~
During the battle, Cressida was covering Lycaon's back. She was taking up the soldiers who were trying to aim at Lycaon. Lycaon couldn't understand why was she sticking with him. Was it for her safety because of what he said? The soldiers were easy to beat. Being train under the men of the North, both, Cressida and Lycaon were hard to defeat. Cressida kept on keeping an eye on Lycaon. His fighting style was different than the fighting style of their soldiers. An arrow then suddenly came flying towards her. She tri d to dodge it, unsuccessfully. It came and hit her shoulder, causing her to fall from Onyx.
Onyx raised its forelegs by the sudden action. Cressida tried to stand on her feet, but the running horses interrupted her attempts. Dragging back, she was keeping herself safe from being crushed by the horses. While dragging, she held the leg of a soldier and stood onto her feet. Letting go of the injured shoulder which she was holding, she held the arrow that was stuck into her shoulder. The arrow was not that deep. Only the point of the arrow emerged into her. The barbs of the arrow were outside. She can pull out it easily. Before doing so, she tore a piece of cloth from her shirt to it around her shoulder, to stop the sudden gush of blood that would leak as soon as she pulls the arrow. Moving to a safe side, she looked around for enemies. When they were out of her sight, she pulled out the arrow with a swift moment. Throwing it on the ground, she quickly wrapped the cloth around. The cloth started to turn red. Holding one end of the cloth into her mouth, she tied a knot. She gritted her teeth in pain. Letting go of the cloth, she took heavy breaths, closing her eyes. An unknown voice of a person alerts her.
Turning around, she saw a person standing at a distance. Taking an attentive position, she pulled out her dagger. The person was slim and tall, dressed in all green. He was wearing black boots and gloves. His long black hair was tied into a high pony. A green ribbon on her pony. His eyes were narrow and small with thin brows. His lips were thin like a line. A sword was hanging around his waist and a bow hung across his shoulder.
Walking towards Cressida with an arrow in his hand, he spoke. "I should have hit hard."
Scoffing a laugh, she took a step to the side. "Late regrets. Huh." She said.
"Big words with bigger injury." The man said, taking out the bow from her back.
"Who are you?" Cressida asked.
"Your opponent ." He said.
Furrowing her brows, Cressida took a step towards him. She waited for him to speak further. But instead, he loaded her arrow and aimed at her. Without waiting for a moment, he shot the arrow at her. Dodging the arrow, she jumped to the side.
"Still able to dodge." The man said.
"It's a minor wound." She said.
"I wonder about that." The man said and took out another arrow from the quiver hanging around the other side of his waist.
"Why would you.." Before Cressida could speak further. The air around them changed.
Noticing the atmosphere around them, they both halted for a moment. Soon white fog began to appear in the air. Widening his small and narrow eyes, the man stepped back.
'Is this the mist?' Cressida thought. She never saw the mist. She didn't even know how does it look like.
'Lycoan..' A sudden thought about him clicked into her mind. Wandering her eyes around, she noticed the man already left.
Running on the battlefield, she scanned the area in search of Lycaon. The moment she took a couple of steps, a tickling sensation began to caused in her shoulder.
Holding her shoulder, she halted her search. A moment later, the pain seems to feel more.
'Damn it!'
"Is that why he said it a big wound?"
She closed her eyes in pain. It looks like the arrow was poisonous. She regrets tying the cloth immediately on the wound. If she let the blood flow out, the poison might have flow too.
Enduring the pain, she slowly opened her eyes. A silhouette of a person appeared in her sigh. She blinked a couple of times to clear her vision and then took a step towards the silhouette.
