A Call For Help - Prologue

Violet

I wake up to a scream. A high-pitched scream, a scream of pure of terror and pain. Only soon after, do I realize it's coming from me. The screams echo through my head and is soon unbearable. 

Then...

everything goes black.

As soon as I wake up I feel a pain throbbing in my head. As if someone had hit me so hard the pain was only now coming, and never leaving. I cry out in pain.

"Help!"

I yell help over and over again but nothing seems to come out. Tears come down my face slowly as I take in more pain from this effort.  I try and sit up, but the pain in my head grows on that making me fall down in my attempt.

"Tch..."

A deep voice, rough with no kindness, but pure evil laughs. I look up, startled.

"Wh-who are...you?"

I manage to get to say, but only in a scratchy, quiet voice.  I look around, my eyes clearing up. Getting used to the dark, I see a figure in the dark.

He looks tall. At least 6'4, strong build. 

"Don't waste your energy Violet."

His voice, now much more clear is deep, and enchanting. It has a British accent to it, which makes it more beutiful.

The way he says my name, snaps me out of some sort of daze I was in. His figure walks towards me slowly. His head is tilt to the side in a curious way.

I try backing up away from him. The movement hurts and wastes my energy so I stop. The closer he gets, the more scared I get. Again I try backing away. I end up making it back a little. It doesn't matter. 

My back hits the wall...

"Sta-stay...aw-away..." I cry out.

He chuckles at my attempt.

"Nice try. I wouldn't want you to waste more energy Violet." He answers, but now he is just a few feet in front of me.

I cry silently. Whoever he was, he making my whole body ache. It made me erupt with a scream. 

"Stop!"

Then...everything goes black. I feel my body falling to the side. I hit the ground with a thud, listening to my heartbeat, I drift off to sleep.

"He-help..." I say before I loose conscious.
