The puppy wagged his tail in delight when Corina placed him on the sofa next to Alexander. The duke patted his leg and watched as the little dog sniffed his hand, then crawled onto his lap. As he scratched behind the fluffy, white ears, the little one laid down on Alexander and closed his bright, black eyes.
"He seems to like you already," Corina cooed and clasped her hands together against her chest. "This is the cutest thing ever."
Corina had a wide grin as she observed Alexander and the puppy together. She was pleased they both warmed up to each other so quickly.
Alexander chuckled as he watched the puppy fall asleep on his lap. "I'm surprised you found this little guy. But it's a little odd he's so friend."
Corina tilted her head and looked confused. "Why is it odd? He's a baby."
"True, but he's not actually a simple puppy," Alexander explained. "From the look of his coat to the size of his paws, he's not a normal dog breed."
