BACK TO MY STAR

"So you mean you brought us here to replace your people's mutant genes and to use our wombs to give children to those who cannot conceive with one?" I couldn't believe what I was hearing. First step into the new world

A man in a coat came into my room and gave me a signal to come out. He was in a hurry as if something important was about to happen. So I followed him quickly into a large hall where all the earth people and many men in coats were lined in front of a stage. I walked slowly and joined a line. There were about five hundred girls lined up. They were all gorgeous and I was nowhere closer to their looks. It was a bit embarrassing to line up with them as an average-looking chubby girl.

Most of their eyes were filled with terror and The whole room was mixed with the sniffling sound of the crying girls. When those bloody red eyes looked at me, there was nothing I could do. I looked down to avoid their eye contact. Even the few men lined up and started gazing at me with their eyes filled with dread. None of them had a single idea about what was happening and where they were taken to. They were forced to form the lines by the men in coats.

After everyone on the spaceship joined a line, I saw Chithak climbing up on the stage with some other men. I was pretty close to him, inside his range of vision. But he didn't even look at me.

"Did he not see me? Or is he mad at me?" I thought.

"Fine, you can ignore me all you want. It's not like I did something wrong!" |I was yelling inside my mind.

He went on giving a long speech in his language for hours and finally, it stopped with loud applause from his coatmen. He climbed down the stage surrounded by the cheer of his people. As he walked past me his footsteps slowed down and stopped. I felt awkward as all the other people started looking at me puzzled. Maybe Chithak felt that I was feeling uneasy, he turned his head to the other side and whispered "landing" before he started walking again.

His voice was filled with a sad vibe. I could hear him sighing even after walking several steps. He sounded so mad, not with me, but with himself.

"Was I too harsh on him? Maybe I shouldn't have shouted at him."

I felt guilty. I vented all my frustration of being locked inside a room for months on him. Maybe I was wrong. I wished I could undo what I said earlier. But I can't. All I could do was say sorry when I see him next time.

As soon as Chithak and his coat men left the room everyone started running towards me. I was splashed with a thousand questions that I didn't even know the answer to. None of them believed me when I said that don't know anything. That is when a girl shouted and screamed,

"you bitch! You murderer! How much did they promise you for selling us? Did you think you can get away from police after kidnapping about five hundred people?!"

And that was my limit. None of them know that if not for me all of them could have died a few months before! My body was burning from anger. My teeth were clenched. I had a thousand things to spit out at that moment. But I couldn't say a word. It was tears that came out instead of words. They were confused to see me crying, but I think they finally understood that I was a kidnapped girl too.

I always thought that I am a strong girl both physically and mentally. I don't know about my physical fitness, but when it comes to mental strength it takes only a few seconds for my heart to melt like butter or maybe cheese. Whatever, I don't know.

Anyway, those were the last few hours That we spent inside the UFO. We all felt the landing of the spaceship. In another few moments, I was about to face a new world That I had never even heard of.

"What will it look like? Will it look the same as our earth or will it be even better than our earth?"

However, one thing was certain. It will be way more comfortable. The spaceship That I was in assured me that it will have many luxurious things that we couldn't even imagine.

We were taken into another room where a door wide opened in the middle allowing a bright unbearable light to fall on us. Then the signals were given to us to move forward and out. I close my eyes and breathed slowly. When I felt composed, I took my right foot to the front and started to move forward with others. I felt my heartbeat rising. I was scared and at the same time, I was excited.

With the whole crowd, I climbed out of the ship. But the scenery in front of me made me lose my breath. I took a step back.

"What am I seeing right now?" my jaws dropped open.

That was very different from what had been imagining the whole time. While stuck in that room there was nothing else for me to do other than imagine that new world I was about to step into. Inside my imagination that was the most beautiful world, I could ever imagine.

But what I was seeing was the complete opposite. My dreams of months shattered into pieces like glass.

That was worse than a dessert! There was nothing on that ground except for a tall thin tower. There were no pants, no animals, and absolutely no sign of water! All it had was black sandy ground, heavy thick fog, and three suns shining up above our heads.

We were forced to move forward by the coat men. I looked around, but there was nothing of any sort of a house or some kind of a dwelling that caught my eyes. I felt my whole body burning because of the high heat from the sun. We had to cover our eyes to stop the black sand from entering into our eyes that came with the wind.

In the corner of my eyes, I caught a man wearing very thick clothes covering his whole body running ahead of us. Several coatmen were holding something like an umbrella on top of him. In front of him, a large door was opened from the ground and he ran into the ground. We all followed him to the ground. As I step into that door, my dream that shattered away came back alive in front of my eyes.
