"I see… Now go away before Natsu wakes up, or other comes near you. It's good that your strong magic has kept everyone at bay, but it seems that Mira has realized I am here. Quickly go…"
"Until we see each other again..."
Igneel said and also took one last longing look at Natsu 'Take care, Natsu. You are on your own now. Though with such a strong man, I am sure you will be fine.'
Igneel soon left the area. Shun noted the direction and kept it in mind. He could at least point out his direction for Grandeeney.
Anyways, he decided to heal Natsu
It took him less than a minute to heal Natsu completely. The wounds were healed, but it seemed that Natsu was exhausted as well or Igneel leaving his body was taking its toll. Regardless of the reason, Natsu seemed to be sleeping comfortably right now and didn't plan to wake up anytime soon.
He picked up Natsu and was on his way back home. On the way, he met up with Gildarts who was standing there, as if waiting for Shun.
The distance between Gildarts and the location where he had a talk with Igneel was large enough. He wasn't worried about him eavesdropping again.
Shun spoke with a clear voice, "Gildarts… Do keep what you heard to yourself. Right now, tell everyone that a slumbering Dragon woke up and I fought against it. After realizing it couldn't win because it was still weak from hibernation for such a long time, the Dragon ran away."
Gildarts seemed really serious about the conversation as he stated, "I thought you wished to hide your power from everyone. Isn't that why you don't take on Missions anymore?"
"Hahaha… You have misunderstood my intentions. It isn't that I wish to hide my power from anyone, I just feel like there is no need to take those jobs when I could earn Jewels more easily. Why work hard when you don't have to?"
"Hmm… You are right about that. But the guild could encounter troublesome things, especially from the Magic Council."
With a smile on Shun's face, he replied, "You need not be worried about that. I have a plan for that in my mind."
"And what about the Black Wizard Zeref? You don't expect me to stay silent about that? This is an important piece of information."
Shun raised his brow and said, "Gildarts, I have tried explaining it to you. I was sure you would understand since your magic is something you can't control yourself as well. People have to get out of your way to prevent their things from being broken from your magic. Zeref's magic takes a life every time he gets attached to someone or starts to get attached to life. He wants to die, but the curse makes him immortal. Believe me, he asked me to kill him after we got to know each other. I succeeded in wrecking his body, but the curse still takes effect and revives his soul, and his body soon appears from thin air."
"I don't know how much of that is the truth. Perhaps this was just the Black Wizard's way to trick you. He will betray you without a moment's hesitation."
Shun stared at him with a deadpan look and asked, "Are you seriously saying that Gildarts? If he really wanted to kill me, what was preventing him from killing me? I was weak. Pathetically weak, when I first met him. He could have used one hand and destroyed my body. However, he didn't. He taught me magic. I am thankful to him for that."
This was a logic that Gildarts could understand. Why would the Black Wizard help out Shun anyways? And if he did want to make Shun into one of his men, then why did he not take him away?
Why was Shun staying in the Fairy Tail guild, doing nothing but eating and having fun with everyone?
He had never seen Shun picking up fights. In his words, it was far too troublesome to fight someone. He is someone who reacts to a change in the situation.
"Very well, then. I suppose I can trust you on this. I shall keep this with me until you say so. Not even Master will know about this."
Shun nods his head, relieved that Gildarts had finally understood. He could sense from the magic within Gildarts, there was no ripple. It meant Gildarts spoke the truth.
He went on ahead to meet up with Mira who looked incredibly worried and anxious. Wendy, Carla, Wilson, and Happy had joined her.
She asked him with an anxious look and asked him, "What happened? I sensed great and suffocating magic. Why did you take Natsu with you?"
"Yes, Nii-chan, what happened? I smelled a Dragon. It was powerful. I also smelled you next to it. Did something happen? How did you come across a Dragon here?"
Shun thought of it for some time before he starts explaining, "That Dragon was sleeping deep within the depths of that location. I used my magic to force him to come out. And the reason I took Natsu was that I thought he could help me kill this Dragon as a fellow Dragon Slayer. I didn't want to worry my little sister for this task, after all."
"Kill the Dragon? Why did you want to kill the Dragon? What if it was Grandeeney!?" Wendy asked with a tearful face and a little scared. She was scared that his answer would be affirmative.
"You need not worry, that Dragon wasn't Grandeeney or someone you may know. It was just a red scaly lizard which had lived all these years by hibernating itself. I would hate for it to suddenly wake up and kill the people here accidentally. So… I forcefully woke it up and made it leave this location."
His statement seemed a little forced, but Mira didn't really care at this point. She stepped forward and kissed him on his lips.
Unaware of what led to this kiss, Shun resisted it for like 10 seconds before he leaned into the kiss.
Wilson saw this and shouted in happiness, "Way to go, Boss!"
Happy had a teasing smile as he shouted, "Mira kissed Shun! Mira kissed Shun!"
Happy decided to fly to the Guild Hall and inform this to everyone. It seemed as though he couldn't wait to spread this information.
Wendy and Carla stood there, blushing and looking down as they saw Shun being kissed by Mirajane.
They were too embarrassed to be here right now. Gildarts also looked at the scene of Shun being kissed by Mira, but he didn't interrupt them.
Mira's feelings were as clear as day. He decided to leave without saying anything. It was time to inform the master. Though he was carefully choosing his words and thinking hard on what he should tell Makarov.
