Attack on titan: The journey of the anomaly

In a dark room somewhere, a boy seemingly in his 20s could be seen lying down on a bed with a huge TV infront of him that is seemingly showing an animations of a girl holding her red scarf as she was saying her thanks to a certain someone for wrapping his scarf to her

After she said that the credits showed up as the man turned off the huge TV as he showed an amused expression

"Haha... What a masterpiece of a story this is, a story of a guy who yearned for freedom but decided to sacrifice his freedom for other in the end huh..." The boy said in an amused tone

"The characters are also very well written aswell... It perfectly shows the true nature of humanity, well overall it's a nice story much better than most"

The anime showed the selfishness of humanity and just how far we could do for the ones we love, The anime perfectly described every bad things that humanity could do for the things they want or want to protect.

I stopped thinking about it as I stood up and readied myself for bed, I rinsed my mouth and changed my clothes to an comfortable clothes as I laid in my bed

As I was laying in bed I kept on having thoughts of what I could've done if I was in that world and some more stuff related to that

After some time I felt drowsiness taking over me so I decided to retire for today

I slowly closed my eyes as my

consciousness started to drift away

Unconsciously before I fell unconscious I thought to myself:

'If I was in that world would I be able to... Change things to my liking?' I thought as soon after that I blacked out

"W... .p!" A voice shouted but my brain couldn't process that as I was in deep sleep

My body felt like it was floating as I felt incredibly comfortable, it seemed like nothing can disturb me from this state.

Well until

"Wake up Shithead!" The voice ringed in my ears even louder causing my hearing to become a little numb as my eyes shot open

"Wha-" I unconsciously said as I saw a large amount of people looking at me, most we're looking in ridiculing gaze some with curiosity and some with indifference

One thing I noticed immediately was that they were wearing some kind of uniform that

consists of a white button up collared shirt, a dark brown waist skirt, fitted white pants, knee-high boots of the same color as the waist skirt, and a light brown colored high waist jacket with the white and blue wings in a grey and white shield logo on their left chest.

It shocked me because I recognized it immediately as the uniform of the cadets of the anime I was watching last night

I couldn't think for long as I heard another shout at me

"Looks like you're awake shithead... You've got some nerve sleeping around in my presence... And for you to be able to sleep while standing, you must be very talented in sleeping huh!" The speaker was a bald guy that perfectly fits the imagination of an instructor in a military but that wasn't important because I recognized him almost immediately

'Keith Shadis... The instructor of the 104th training corps... Then that means I'm in...' I thought as my face became pale

'I'm in the world of attack on titan?! But how?!' I thought as I started panicking but another yell came from Shadis

Also how was I asleep when I'm standing?!

"If you're just gonna sleep around then leave! The corps doesn't need lazy bastards like you!" Shadis yelled at me with his face looking angry

Seeing me unmoving with a stupid look in my face he shouted again

"If you're not gonna leave then state your name, where you're from and what the hell your purpose is for being here!" He remarked at me shouting at my face once more

I truly wonder how he never loses his voice with that much shouting

I decided to push down the questions and confusions in my mind as I calmed myself down and I thought for a little bit and I decided to shout back to Shadis

"I am August Siegmund from Shiganshina Sir! And I came here to to take back the home I lost sir!" I introduced myself at him as I tried to look as determined as possible, I also saluted as I put my left hand to my back and the other to my left chest

I decided to say I came from Shiganshina because well... That place was the best alibi for my reason for being here well 'allegedly'

"Hoh, To take back your home you say? What an admirable goal you have, you will become a great first-rate titan food!" He yelled

I was still feeling a little groggy so I was easily getting pissed off but I was able to hold it in as He finished berating me with tons of yelling

"Third squad about face!" He yelled at me then moved to the next one he decided to berate

I turned around still saluting as I started to think of my situation calmly

'So I'm in the world of attack on titan... But how did I get here...?' I thought as I started to brainstorm but even after thinking for a few minutes I couldn't think as for why I got here so I decided to give up thinking about it and decided to plan things out for my future here

'Should I drop out of here...? No that would be a dumb move, with the events that would happen in the future then me being an ordinary civilian would be just akin to suicide so I need to be a soldier and have odm gear to atleast protect myself...'

'Damn it both ways are both dangerous for me... But I'd rather have something to protect myself with than be unable to protect myself...'

'I need to train as hard as I could possibly can to atleast make my chances of surviving in this world higher' I thought in frustration

'Damn it if I have a cheat now would be a good time...' I waited for a few seconds before sighing

'ofcourse there wouldn't be a cheat for me, things like that only happen in fantasies though I'm currently in one...'

I sighed again before looking around as I looked for any of the main cast that I could recognize since I was pretty curious about them

It was then I noticed three people was looking at me

It was the trio protagonists... Eren, Mikasa and Armin... I sighed again at my bad luck

'I need to lose their attention or the future Eren might do something to me for being an anomaly that might hinder his plans, since I wasn't supposed to exist in these world after all...'

'Who knows... Maybe when the walls get breached again, he might send tons of titan to me...'

'Well I just need to be strong and agile enough to escape all the things he might send to me...'

'No wait... Things have already changed since I'm here now, that means Eren wouldn't do anything against me right?' I thought about it for a little bit

I lampooned over that thought for a little while before shooking my head as I decided to play it safe, I decided that I would not come anywhere near them for my safety!

I noticed that their look at me was one of a surprise and curiosity, probably because I 'came' from the 'same' place as them

I also noticed this a little late but my clothes are the same ones the others are wearing which is the uniform of the cadets which is weird since I was wearing a hoodie with a joggers before I slept...

And my body... It's younger... I think my body was like this when I was... 13 or 14 maybe? Let's just say I'm currently 13

I shook my head again as I used the time that Shadis was yelling at the others to think of my future plans

A/N: I'll just call Shadis instructor from now on since calling Shadis well... Shadis is too uncomfortable to me i dunno why though

It has been a few hours since The Instructor finished yelling at the other cadets

The Instructor announced that for the rest of the day we are free to do whatever we want to do and tomorrow morning exactly 6 am training will start

A lot of people dropped out in the first day as they couldn't take the pressure and the beration of The Instructor was the boiling point for them and so they asked to be on the fields instead

I also witnessed the funny encounter of Sasha and the Instructor earlier, it was pretty funny and made me relax quite a bit

I am currently in the dorm we were assigned into as I was resting myself until it was time to eat in the eatery

There was currently no one in the dorm I was in as they were either out there doing who knows what

I was honestly feeling bored as there is no entertainment here

Honestly this world is full of downsides, I mean the only place we can wash ourselves is by the river, soap doesn't exist here which is pretty heartbreaking for me but I decided that one day I will make one for myself and for myself only!

Anyway I decided that after everyone is sleeping I will sneak out and train myself deep into the woods, my training will consist of strength, endurance, agility, perception and most importantly reaction speed

Most people die to titans because they are eitheir too panicked to think properly or don't have enough perception of their sorroundings and they are most likely lacking in reaction speed

This is why I will focus more on my perception and my reaction speed than the other trainings

I will also try to get an empty diary to write down every detail of information I know about this world since it will definitely help me in the long run

Now then... As for when I graduate here... I decided that I will join the scouts... Yeah I know that it's basically courting death but I didn't want to be in the other regiments since both of the other regiments is full of corrupted and arrogant pricks, and I'd rather die being eaten by titans than join those bastards, but it doesn't mean there is no corrupts and bastards here in the scouts but it's just that it is more tolerable here than the other regiments

Anyway I decided to nap for a bit to alleviate my boredom until it was time to eat

And so, I closed my eyes and napped

After that very much deserved nap, I am now currently in the eatery, I quickly took my portion of food and sat at a table where no one was in

Soon more and more people were coming to the eatery making it pretty packed

Sound of cheers and laughter was heard in the air as I ate my bland food.

It was honestly pretty annoyinh as I like to eat in peace

Soon things simmered down as a crowd sorrounded a table whilst the others listened in on the conversation

I couldn't help but be curious as for what was happening so I decided to listen in

"Yeah, I saw it... The Colossal Titan" A male's voice resounded to the table as he spoke of the Colossal titan, the voice belonged to Eren Yeager the mc of this world

'So it was just that huh...'

I stood up and started to walk out of the eatery ignoring the crowd's questions to Eren

As I opened the door causing some people to look at me

"Oh it's that sleeping guy" A random voice said as they turned their attention on me

"Sleeping guy...?" I muttered out loud speechlessly

"Wait, you said you were from Shiganshina aswell right? Come over and tell us more about it!" Another voice sounded from the crowd

I sighed and turned my head to them

"I'd rather not, not everyone can talk about such things, if you want to ask someone then just ask him I mean he is pretty fine telling you all about it right?" I said with my voice sounding monotonely

"Uhm... Sorry... We didn't realize" The person who asked me said as I nodded and went out and closed the door

Before I closed the door I caught glimpse of the trio looking at me again with curiosity once more

I sighed

"Why couldn't I get transmigated into a much more safer world" I complained as I went to the river to clean myself up

Soon after that I went to the dorm and waited till it was curfew and everyone was asleep

I'd estimate it was currently 11 pm, anyway I soon sneaked out and went to the woods

It's time for the grind.
