“We will give you a day to get familiar with the surroundings.” He left her in front of the main building and left.

Rosa smirked as he left. ‘You have your work cut out here. That man is an assassin magnet.’

The shadow spoke as he floated beside her.

‘My question is who has such an amount of money to hire so many assassins to kill just one captain. Isn’t it easier to just remove him from his position with a scandal or something?’ Rosa asked as her legs carried her to a familiar path.

‘This only means, the captain is a strong person in the court and thus people are trying their best to get him off their best.’ The shadow still floated beside her.

‘Do you think multiple houses are targeting the captain?’ Rosa asked as she watched the ground.

Her eyes did not see what was in front of her. She let her feet do the decision to be taken for her.

‘You will have sleepless nights.’ The shadow said before disappearing into the air.
