For the second time since she arrived, there were armed townspeople at the gate ready to burn the castle to the ground, but unlike the last time, Andor wasn't willing to hear them out.
"Allow them to enter, close the gate behind them and take up a position against them," Andor ordered the commander, and after a moment of hesitation, the man did as his master requested.
The townspeople stormed inside with lit torches, rakes, swords, sticks, and other weapons in hand and a look in their eyes that sent chills up her spine.
"We demand that you release the witch Bailey to us, or we will burn this castle to the ground with all in it!" A man shouted, and from his garb, he was the new mayor.
Did these people not learn from their previous experiences, although none of those who stood against Andor the last time seemed to be present?
