Chapter 1: Under The Same Starry Sky

( Phone Ringing )

"Who?"

"Where are you?"

Demanding an answer as always.

"Steven?..... What? Still pretending at least you care?"

"Astrid!"

"What?"

Well I shouldn't ask what he meant by that. He's always this way. If he wants something he always get it. But although he always acted this way ... not once did I notice that -

"Enough I'll be there."

He said on a frantic voice.

"Huh? Do you even know where I am ?"

I asked him out of confusion.

"Who knows. But let me tell you this... I will definitely find you."

"Wait-"

Beep. beep.

He hang up the phone.

"That idiot."

I throw the phone on the ground. But still... that idiot saw through my plans. Everything. It's laughable. Why did everything went this way. I notice that the necklace I was wearing was sparkling on its back. I remove it and turned it around. Behind it I saw a GPS chip attach to it. I did it once more. I didn't think but I just threw it on the ocean below me, just below the cliff I am standing.

The night was dark and the moon also the stars illuminates the darkness surrounding it. Then I heard footsteps from behind me and also someone catching their breathe.

"You're here already?"

I said and turned around. There I saw Steven catching his breathe after he runned up to this mountains and near the cliff.

"What are you doing - here?"

He asked me.

"Do you think I'll ever tell you?"

"You will."

He raised his head as he answered me.

"Then... I'll give you a chance."

"Chance for what?"

"Don't tell me you knew. All this time?"

I didn't answer instead I nodded.

"Change in the air. I suppose."

Then I looked back at him and smile. He didn't notice that I was already taking a steps back. At the edge of the cliff.

"The moon is quite lovely tonight."

"Yeah, I wish I would see this once more. With you."

"What are you taking about."

After I said that he turned around my direction and he saw me jumping off the cliff. With a smile on my face.

"Astrid!"

He yelled at the top of the cliff.
