William did not expect Arathor to create such a twist of events just as he thought that the auction was going to come to a perfect close. He was fuming beyond words, so much so that even his beard began to quiver. However, Arathor was still the castellan of Roland City, after all, and William couldn't just berate him harshly. Although William did not want to get involved, he still needed Mage Felic to help him concoct the potions based on the Dark Age formulas that he had given to the latter a few days ago. Besides, he was the one who had invited Mage Felic to the auction, and both he and Arathor would be held responsible if something were to go wrong.
